  1. You might have........I wasn't paying attention to what pants or shorts other guys had on though! LOL! I was set up at the end of one of the middle isles with red table cloths if that helps jog your memory any.
  2. I will be set up there.
  3. You already know how I feel about this one Dennis! It just has the right look! Have you thought about (or tried) mocking up the reworked SWC Willys seats you got from me in this one by chance? I think they'd be perfect.......and traditional for this early '60's era build.
  4. I wanted to let you guys know that I have added more parts to my line-up lately such as this tuck'n roll interior for the AMT '53 Ford pickup kit. Feel free to e-mail me direct at lowcab36@epix.net if you see anything in my Fotki albums that interests you; or if you have any questions such as pricing and availability. Thanks! Ed https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/member_dealer_directory/drag-city-casting-/
  5. I should also clarify that the post I made back in February 2016 should now be disregarded. I am not looking to trade for any of the model kits specified in that 2 year old post. Also, the molds for the '57 Ford interior have run their course. All I have is what is left in inventory that has been cast up for a while. I will not be bringing the '57 Ford interior back on-line again.......for sure.
  6. I just want to clarify for some members here that the retail price on the three interiors I am offering are as follows below. I was running a temporary sale for a short period of time on the '57 Ford and '57 Chevy interior as stated earlier in this thread; but that was three years ago. Each of these interiors are for the newer Revell kits. '50 Olds tuck'n roll interior.....just brought back on-line....$20.00 '57 Ford interior....currently have around 12 left in stock...$23.00 '57 Chevy interior...currently have less than 10 left in stock....might be able to cast up some more yet....$25.00
  7. I must have missed it in the trash folder if it came through. Since I cleaned up my e-mail on Sunday I can't check back any further than Monday's e-mails. Would you kindly send another e-mail? I'll keep a look out for it now that I know what your e-mail address is. Thanks! Ed
  8. Did you change your mind Dale? After your post above you went silent.
  9. Dale, if you would like to place an order at this time you can e-mail me direct at lowcab36@epix.net. The same goes for anyone. Thanks! Ed
  10. I thought I would pop in here to let you guys know that I remolded the '50 Olds tuck'n roll interior again. It has been 6 years since I came out with it! I only made one set of molds this time (instead of two); so once they're gone this time I don't foresee a third round. The cost is $20.00 plus shipping. I also still have a limited number of '57 Chevy and '57 Ford tuck'n roll interiors left. Those will surely be going off-line for a while if not for good at this point in time. There are a handful of new items just added to my Fotki albums that are now available in my product line. Feel free to drop me a line if you are interested in anything or if you have any questions. Thanks! Ed https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/member_dealer_directory/drag-city-casting-/
  11. Awesome work and attention to detail as usual John! I started back at page one and got caught up on this project again........love it!
  12. Awesome work on modifying the wheels Dennis! I can't wait to see more.........as usual!
  13. I like the '70 Impala; and with the side windows (quarter windows) reshaped like that I can see it being a 'phantom' precursor to the '77-'79 Impala/Caprice. Giving it an aerocoupe back window instead of a fastback roof line might balance things out better and not make it look top heavy towards the rear........if it bothers you. I like your work! Now I want to try this out and see what it would look like! Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  14. Well, not all casters do. I don't slush cast (never have); but I have been casting for over a decade without a pressure pot. If you know what you are doing you can get good results without one.......not that I have any problem with using one. In fact, I have one in the shop; but have not been able to acquire the rest of the parts and equipment I need to get it up and operational......like a new air compressor. It does limit how many times you can make a pour (casting) in a day though depending on the type of resin you are using. Norm (Replicas and Miniatures) told me that his resin takes 24 hours to cure; and I know he is using pressure pots. This means he can only make one casting out of a mold a day; where I can make 2 or 3 if I'm in a time crunch.
  15. I really appreciate you sharing these old photos with us! You had some really cool rides back in the day......and diverse too!
  16. I wanted to let you all know that I am running a special on these bodies now through the end of the week (the 25th to be exact). The sale price is $25.00 (plus shipping). The discount alone will cover the greater portion of the shipping costs in most cases! Feel free to send me a pm or e-mail (preferred) at lowcab36@epix.net if you are interested. Again, this body is discontinued at this point; and I am selling off what I have left in stock. Thanks, Ed
  17. This is the only polished bare plastic kit that I've completed. It was an original issue Monogram Blue Beetle; and I had more fun building this one right out of the box than just about any other model to date! I swapped out the front wheels and tires with sister parts from the Little Coffin so all four wheels would match. The rest was just brush detailed; and the interior was sprayed with white Tamiya primer. If I recall correctly I polished the body with Micro Mark's polishing compound or Novus.
  18. I know some of you are pinched for cash; so I am throwing this offer out here. I'll trade one of these '34 Ford coupe bodies for this issue of the Revell '67 Corvette coupe......straight across if you are in the states. PM me if you are interested.
  19. I had to catch it before it flew off the desk! Hosted on Fotki
  20. I will be discontinuing this body now that the mold has run it's course. I do not have any plans on remolding this one again. If you have thought about getting one but haven't now's the time! I still have some bodies left in stock.........all ready to go; so no waiting period. Send me apm or an e-mail (preferred) if you have any questions. (lowcab36@epix.net). Thanks! 21. I will be discontinuing this body. The mold has just about run it's course now; although I do suspect I will get a small handful of castings out of it yet. Don't miss out on this one if you've been on the fence. I will not be making a new mold after this point in time if for no other reason than the the fact that I busted the master remolding it this time around. I do have some bodies currently cast up and in stock right now; so no waiting period! Shoot me a pm or better yet, an e-mail (lowcab36@epix.net), if you have any questions. Thanks! Ed
  22. I dig the color on this Vette! I don't think the orange styrene bleeding through is changing the shade since most of the models I've seen painted with this paint look just like your Vette does. That is why I bought a can of this Inca Gold myself! Most of the colors in this line of paints don't match the cap exactly from my experience........which has been both a pleasant surprise and a let down depending on what color your talking about. The two orange colors were a let down for me because they did not match the cap exactly.
  23. I like the warmer shade of purple that the Tamiya paint offers as well John!
  24. I would seek out one of these older MPC '57 Corvette gasser kits on eBay. The tooling is a bit nicer and more crisp; the body is one piece (no tilt front end to deal with); it is set up as a gasser with traction bars, front axle, neat headers like the ones in the original Chris Lang Malco Vette (and later reissues); and you can build the engine with a high rise & dual quads or blown. I just sold this one; so I can't help you out there; but you should be able to score one for around $30-$35. Hosted on Fotki
  25. I happen to have a few of the stock roof '33 Willys coupe bodies left in stock. The molds are down at this point. I am working on remastering the body one last time; but am not sure at what point I will have the new one on-line. If anyone wants to snag one of these before they're gone feel free to drop me a line. The body comes with the corrected front end; and I also offer the stock rear fenders/running boards for it.......Ed
