  1. I hate being a nitpicker but if AMT is going to re-release the '33 Willys I hope they will repair the indent in the top of the driver's door frame. It's been present in the last several re-issues and it bugs me !
  2. Beautiful start Bill. This is a very underrepresented era in modelling. Can I ask you where the Miller rad shell came from ?
  3. FIRST CLASS ALL THE WAY !!
  4. Was this post moved ?
  5. I think inherently car modelers are not as commited to fidelity.(translation: We're cheap !!)
  6. Stunning work and detailing !
  7. Beautiful build !
  8. Fabulous work. Love how the rear wheel is set in the wheelwell so the full body character line is visible in a sideview. Have you considered filing the bottom edge of the hood louvers at an angle to match the bottom of the hood side? I realize this might be visually distracting with the drag link running down the side of the hood and the split wishbone angle. It's nice to keep these lines all fairly parallel. Just a thought. Your work is outstanding, keep the eye-candy coming!
  9. Loving it ! Keep up the great work.
  10. Beautifully done. Killer weathering !
  11. Love it !!!! Keep it Ford, how about the boss 429 shotgun ??(from the glidden pro/stk) Update the carbs/manifold and viola instant super/gas (comp) !! I think that might require a slightly taller/shorter in length hood scoop, especially if you want to fashion a windscreen.
  12. Exactly ! Plus, until recently, the kit would be re-issued in grey or some other ugly off-color and sometimes inferior plastic !
  13. Thanks for the info Dave.
  14. Tommy, are you making resin copies of the Schroeder ? If so i'd like to buy some please . Thanks
  15. That is a competition coupe.Because it's unblown it would have been either A/C or B/C depending on it's weight and engine size. these classes were rolled into the dragster classes in late '60s-early '70s and are not current NHRA classes.
  16. A great idea, well done little mini dioramas. Sometimes the best ideas are the simplest !
  17. This is potentially a momentus series of re-releases ! The Malco mustang (if it could e backdated to it's original release) alone would make my year, the Mr. Gasket car would make my decade ! Please please Round 2 do not re-issue it in clear plastic .
  18. Barry this should help (not quite the correct year but close) http://www.oilnspeed.../37cad.jpg.html As you can see they were very simple trannys but just about the strongest most robust in the 1950s drag cars.
