  5. Donn are these Model Master enamels ?
  6. This is a 1/43rd body ???
  7. Beautiful build. I've never been a fan of diecasts but this model is changing my mind about the possibilities of working on these things. Well done !
  8. Doctor you are right as always, this could be a fun CBP. These look very similar to the Stewart farm truck I posted pictures of in the 1:1 truck reference shots I posted Oct. 27th. Neat little trucks/tractors
  9. Household lye. Read the mixing instructions EXTREMELY CAREFULLY. Work in a WELL VENTILATED AREA. (NOT your basement). Wear RUBBER GLOVES( SUITABLE FOR TOXIC MATERIAL HANDLING) and a suitable FACE MASK. Definitely not stuff to play around with. But it will remove just about anything w/o damaging (most) plastic. PLEASE just be extremely careful.
  10. Looking great. I'm loving this build.
  11. Wonderful eye candy. Well done.
  12. WOW ...so nice, even better with the section. Beautiful bodywork, you really know your customizing !
  13. Tremendous execution of a great vision.Beautiful balance.Great work. To me the proportions on this model Merc are much more pleasing to the eye than the Imperial. It thankfully doesn't have that 'custom golf cart' look that a lot of shortened cars exhibit. Is this top from the 'Smoothster' ?
  14. Beautiful,beautiful,beautiful.....!!!
  15. I'm 'er eighth Old Man ,I'm 'Enery 'Enery the Eighth I am,I am
  16. Great rebuild and lovely paint.
  17. Great build and beautiful paint !
  18. Great buildup of a golden oldie. One of the nicest completed models of this kit that I have ever seen. Well done.
  19. Great detail.
  20. I totally agree. The Kirkey seats are awesome and the Clay Kemp drag suspension pieces are excellently designed and rendered. These pieces look real and save a tremendous amount of time (and frustration !) Quick delivery makes me very happy also.
  21. I'm going to have to start checking this forum earlier in the morning; it seems all the excitement starts before 8 AM...... B)
  22. Aoshima has a few but they're 1/32nd scale. Try TOKYO-HOBBY on e-bay.
  23. Nice work, keep it going . This summer I started working on my first airplane in a long, long time and was amazed how well everything fit and was free of injector marks, flash etc. A dream to build compared to a lot (most) N. American auto kits. Tamiya ,Aoshima ,Hasegawa and Fujimi seem to have raised the bar. Since 90% of what I want to build is American it appears this is the price of doing business.
