  1. Fantastic build Tyrone ! You should be very proud of this outstanding effort.
  2. Very beautiful truck in person, bright bright red and huge ! Unfortunately the MXT (military extreme truck) was cancelled in 2009. IIRC , Navistar (IH) made the same engine for this truck and the Ford F-650 (Powerstroke).
  3. Made sometime between WW1 and WW2. Waukesa engine ?? Used in the orchards and garden farms around the Niagara Peninsula. Sorry, not great pics.( i-phone ), and in a rush. If anybody needs better reference shots PM me and I'll stop and take better shots next time I'm in the area (Fort Erie,Ontario) near Buffalo.
  4. Neat little car/truck. I'm guessing the 'prospector' tag is some special edition pkg. Know nothing about it. Was it N.America-wide or some local dealers group special ?
  5. Great workmanship !
  6. Very nice start Steve. You are correct about your Beaumont history. I assume you know they came with Chevy engines and the S/D models had killer engine combos.GM marketed several different Chevy lines partially rebodied as Pontiacs. The Canadian Pontiac version of the Vega was called the Astra and Bert Straus (Chilly Willy gasser fame) ran one w/Chevy s.b. in Pro Stock. I think it took the NHRA a while to legalize that one.
  7. Beautiful start Ryan ! I'm happy to see the stock firewall, something a lot of people overlook.
  8. Very nice build !
  9. Unfortunately most of them look like this now
  10. How about it Moebius ?? A 3in1 kit ? You could spin off a military version ,bush firetruck,or.......
  11. Great start !

    GT-40

Very nice build of a not easy to build kit.
  13. Beautiful detailing + subtle weathering = great model
  14. Love this build !......I'm with Jantrix ,don't ruin this beautiful paint, build another !( Not that anyone should ever tell you what or how to build) Great idea with the Opel Blitz. I've always liked exploring alternative histories and 'what ifs'. The idea that after WW2 , hotrodding flourished in Europe, has always been an interesting avenue of thought. Twenty years ago Andy Martin (Aardvark resins) built a Porsche bodied/powered funny car that's still influential.Others have built Nissan powered BMW Dixies, rodded Kubelwagens, chopped Mercedes-Benz'panel deliveries etc., so it's a wide open area of building. Have fun and keep building great models !
  15. Thanks for the thought Greg ,but you're right, I'd like a "stock Shelby" hood. Wayne
  16. This is the chassis (Don Kirby ) IIRC I don't know if this helps much ; at least it shows you the seats and rollbar, suspension details etc.
  17. Does anyone cast one in 1/25th that will fit the AMT '67mustang ??
  18. Great paint detailing,subtle weathering....Wonderful eye candy !!
  19. Beautiful work as always .The hood work is especially fine.
  20. Very nice ! I've never seen one of these built up and have always been curious. I'll be following with interest.
