Beautiful model Jeff. How was the bar armour etch to work with ? -
Your usual outstanding paint job Doc !! Very nicely done .

Wonderful build James . Cutting the door lines into the fadeaways must have been exceptionally tricky. Great job !

Perfectly illustrates why us oldtimers LOVE these Johan kits. A kit (or promo) that looks just like the real thing ! Beautiful model Andy.

Wonderful work as always Bill ! As to the rear section ; have you considered taking a tiny sliver of a pie-cut out of it ? The wider part of the pie piece would be from the top . This would elevate the rear slightly .This might get rid of the models "droopy"look in the rear and perhaps be closer to your reference photo. I'm not sure whether this is even possible without creating some kind of interference with the rearmost frame section(or requiring unrealistic frame alterations). Just a suggestion that may or may not be practical. -
Always a fan of Ghias !! Beautiful work Jarkko.

Great save and wonderfully subtle weathering !

Love that this kit is being issued BUT "weedburner" headers would be more correct for this vintage rail rather than "zoomies" Zoomies appeared in 1964. No deal breaker tho...This is what parts boxes are for ! lol Love that this kit is being issued BUT "weedburner" headers would be more correct for this vintage rail rather than "zoomies"

This car was an original A/FX equipped with a wedge ( because the SOHC was in short supply). These factory cars were supposed to have a 2% wheelbase shift max by the NHRA rulebook.(about 3''in real life or 3mm in scale). If you examine the photo of the Larsen Ford car, you will see the lip of the rear wheel opening is very close to the cove rear edge.(it was actually moved about 4") The front isn't as noticeable because of the larger than stock wheels/tires (and the fact they were moved slightly less). Since Mustangs were fairly new in '65 an extra inch or so was hard for a tech guy to pick up on. At the Winternats. when they debuted they all had carbs with bubble hoods. -
WOW !!!

Beautiful work Bill ! Love the prototypical black lacquer finish. -
Brillant vision and outstanding bodywork James !! Great stuff.

Very nice start. I really like your work using the kit glass as the filler panel. I never thought that clear plastic would be that easy to cut. Really great work. Definitely watching.

I never liked the shape of the bottom edge of the quarters behind the rear wheelwells. To my eye they look angled upwards, more like the Coronet quarters. The RoadRunner bottoms should be more parallel to the ground.
