  3. Thank you all for posting this thread. I can't wait to show my wife some of these outstanding rooms filled with models. I probably own 10 kits, and my wife thinks that's too many. Thanks again guys, Great building areas!
  4. Rodz123, there is a free picture "fixer" called Irfanview. It is one of the easiest programs to use, It's great for fixing bad photos and resizing. To get a bigger megabite jpeg, just resize it. Say its 800x600, make it 1200x900, that will increase the bites in the picture. Make sure you resize them before you upload them in MCM.
  5. Love the color! Great work on this beauty. I think style 1 looks better IMO.
  6. Super clean and smooth Chevelle!

    66 GTO

Those rims look sick on that car! Love the color and the attention to detail. great job!
  8. Bernard, here is a before and after pic for you. I had the same problem with Plasti-Kote primer under Dupli-color paint. My soloution to this problem is to buff out your paint job. I used 2000 grit sand paper to start and ended with 8000. The first pic was a before sanding, the second pic is the outcome of sanding. Please be nice these pics were shot at high ISO with macro so you are going to see every little "bad" thing.
  9. I'm going with model on this one. The front rims are from the 57' Chevy snap kit.

  21. Nice color on that Charger. Great job!
  22. Crispy, Let me know when your are going to start yours. I will go through the directions with you and help you so you don't run into the same problems I did.
  23. Oh boy, were do I start. The exhaust system on this car is terrible to put together. On step 7 when you go to put the body on the chassis, you almost break the body in half to get it to fit over all the goodies that sit on the rear wheel wells. Also it is a really tight fit going from the nose of the model to the exhaust. Glad this one is done. Oh well, live and learn. I have another one coming in the mail from Justin2020, so this time I will know the order on how I will assemble the body parts so I don't break them off trying to mate the body to the chassis. Other than those small hick-ups, the model itself was a nice fit and finish.
  24. I agree with Simon, get yourself some PE parts and you got a great little treasure there. Good job restoring an oldie.
