  3. Well... there is a yellow zinc chromate and a green zinc chromate. The green version is sometimes called interior green by military modelers. Hope his helps, oldscool - nightstalker
  4. What a beautiful paint job! Can't wait to see more. Hey Ed, i remember those ads too. Also remember the ads for lenses that had spades and clubs etc added to them. oldscool - nightstalker

    2009 Builds

I like the 5 window too. If it were me, I would have used the Hemi in the 5 window. Other than that it is perfect. oldscool - nightstalker
  8. That looks great! Nice trim job and I think the color is great also. oldscool - nightstalker
  9. Would it be a big deal or would it even matter to anyone if I changed my screen name to something else? I registered using oldscool because I was already using it on the other model car site but there are so many others using different variations of this term for screen names that I am thinking about changing to something different. I am not very well versed in internet forum etiquette and am not sure if this would be a proper thing to do. Also, I don't understand why some people use a different name on different forums. oldscool - nightstalker
  10. WOW! That is one of the nicest looking builds of that kit I have ever seen. looks great in black and the wheels and stance are really happenin' oldscool - nightstalker
  11. And the rest There are some fairly large mold lines on the front of the body. The only things I didn't photograph are the clear parts and the engine stand which I have already put to use. The decal flames are a joke to me and could only belong on something from a cartoon but at least we get license plates. The mini kit box is kinda neat as is the street rods sticker. Hope this is helpful to some of you guys. oldscool - nightstalker
  12. More pics
  13. As promised...pics of kit contents. as you can see(or maybe not) the chrome is smooth and clean Will have pics of the rest as soon as they upload. oldscool - nightstalker

  18. Man, I love them old 70s pro stockers! Great job on all of them! Is that an original MPC Motown Missle or did you kitbash it? oldscool - nightstalker
  19. They all look great to me. That 53 Ford pickup is a classic and I have seen more of them built using that custom grille than the stock grille. oldscool - nightstalker
  20. I received one of these from Hobbylinc.com a few days ago and can agree with Chuck. Great old kit with very good chrome and almost no flash and I noticed the difference in the tires too. I may try to post some pics tomorrow if I'm not too wiped out from working night shift. The price was great too - 12.59. This is the regular price and not a sale price. oldscool - nightstalker
  21. Bee yoo ti full build! oldscool

    32 Ford's

Have since painted the taillight lenses and added a license plate frame from the Revell 49 Merc. I know this started as a Revell 32 Ford thread but several others have posted AMTs so here's mine. Haven't built any of my Revell 32s yet. oldscool
