  4. This one has been posted before but tell me what you think of the background. It's nothing more than a piece of black poster paper. oldscool - getting artsy
  5. Got a little more done yesterday. Since this is a modernized Hemi Dart, I added subframe connectors from Evergreen stock. Painted the rear axle to match the engine. It still gets some detail painting. I have sanded the heck out of the slicks and can't get rid of the mold seams Some more work on the 440. I like the starter detail on these engines. oldscool

  11. Got a little more done today. Some engine detail painting and the body is ready for paint, Is this a killer stance or what? Painted the headers and trans pan on the 440 with Tamiya metallic silver. Going for the Jet Hot coated look on the headers. The trannys are painted with Humbrol aluminum Had to sand the bottom of the 440 oil pan as I found a circular ejector pin mark after the first coat of paint. Also got the distributor and valve covers drilled for wiring on the Hemi. Now if I can just get some painting weather. oldscool
  12. Lookin good so far Walt. I see you're going for the "as delivered" look. oldscool

  16. Everybody has their own building style and there is nothing wrong with curbside builds but my favorite part of a model to build is the engine. oldscool the lonesome polecat
