Now I am an old guy who wasn't born into the computer age and maybe that is why I don't get it, but why do people feel the need to use a different name on different modeling website forums? I use the same name no matter if I am on here or any other site. I am oldscool here, there and everywhere.

I know how you feel when it comes to airplane burnout. Unless you are doing factory stock builds, cars don't demand the attention to accuracy that aircraft do. I always come back to building cars as a way of "getting back to my roots".

I love the paint work. This is just my personal opinion but I think you chopped the top too much which to my eye causes the rest of the body to appear too slab sided. -
That paint is looking really good. What color blue is it? Is it the star spangled blue or the deja blue? I like to use Testors enamel glosscote too but it takes a month to dry for me. How are you able to handle it in just 2 days?

Man, builds of the Tom Daniel cars are coming out of the woodwork lately. I'm getting a hankerin to build the IceT.

Anyone else have this problem? Nothing looks warped but it is too wide to fit all the way up into the body. Haven't built one of these since I was about 8 yrs old.

Looks like one of the old Palmer kits to me. Run away from it as fast as you can:o. I built one and only one as a kid.

Don't know where that came from but it is awesome! Would have made a great old double kit from AMT. Just throw in a coupe or sedan body. -
I like it, especially that shot of it from the rear. Really shows the stretched out look these cars had.
