  1. Pretty cool idea. That Mustang clip blends in really well. oldscool
  2. They both look great to meB). Did you have any trouble getting the hood to close on the Mustang? oldscool
  3. That looks really good and you got the details and stance very accurate from what I can see. oldscool
  4. Fantastic work guys! Why has no one who reviewed this kit told us that the shape of the squared off rear wheel openings are outlined inside the body for those who want to cut them out?! The rounded openings were my biggest disappointment with this kit and I would have bought one right away had I known this. Geez! oldscool

That truck is going to look great! That's one of my favorite colors. Are you keeping the 5.0 engine or going with something bigger? oldscool
  6. May God be with your family and the doctors caring for your daughter. oldscool
  7. Yes sir! That is excellent workB). oldscool
  8. Hi Terry, unfortunately that's the kit firewall and it's one of the low points of this kit along with all the old monogram 1/24 Chevys. Not even a master cylinder to go on it. The slots are for a hood hinge that I didn't use. oldscool
  9. Thanks for the comment Brian and it's Testors Lime Ice one shot laquer sprayed right over the plastic with no primer and clear coated with Testors wet look clear then rubbed out with Blue Magic metal polish. I chickened out on painting the side trim:P oldscool
  10. Oh yeah! This is looking good:). When I was a teenager looking to buy my first car, my boss tried to get me to buy a Mini Cooper but all I wanted was an American muscle car. I love muscle cars but I wished I had bought that Mini Cooper:(.oldscool
  11. That looks really good against the black background. I've noticed that my camera tends to be a little out of focus when I take pics in bright sunlight. Maybe yours is the same way? oldscool
  12. Finally got this one finished. Don't know why the chrome looks scratched in the pics, it doesn't look that way in reality. oldscool
  13. I really, really like this one! oldscool
  14. Working on my Monogram 56 Chevy done as a 70s every mans street machine. Trying to get as much done as I can before going to work at 3pm. [ oldscool
  15. Can't believe it's been three months since I did any thing to this one. I keep getting side tracked by airplanes. Anyway. I've got the interior done and the window trim painted on the body.
  16. That would make a great kit-the thing that is, not the roach coach:P oldscool
  17. I'll post more when I can dig them out. These things have been in an old shed since they were new and they smell really bad:huh:. oldscool
  18. These are old Car Craft centerfolds from 1965. I deleted my original pics because I was afraid of copyright issues but since I see that there have been over 100 hits on my post I will repost them and take the risk. Hope you enjoy them. oldscool
  19. Now that's a name I haven't heard in years- Norm "woo woo" Grabowski. One of the first of the kookie T- bucket rods. oldscool
  20. Cool stuff! from the days when liability lawsuits didn't stifle creativity. oldscool
  21. To my eye that's what it's supposed to look like. Good job. oldscool
  22. Nice job! They did a nice 59 Impala also. At least I think it was by Gunze:unsure:. oldscool
  23. I haven't built or even had my hands on a Silhouette kit since the 60s and I don't remember it having the short windscreen. Thanks for the offer though. oldscool
  24. They both look great to me! I have always wanted to build the Silhouette without the bubble and rollbar and just put a cut down wind screen on it. oldscool
