  1. That is one awesome model! This is my Holy Grail kit because I could never get ahold of one even when it was new. oldscool
  2. Two more nice hunks of American iron! oldscool
  3. Both of them look great! Those cars were real slabs. oldscool
  4. I love what you are doing here Curt. Nice clean work. oldscool
  5. Beautiful model of the ugliest Mopar ever made oldscool

    1967 Goat

Back when these GTOs were common, the owners used to say that GTO stood for gas, tires and oil because they required a lot of each. oldscool
  7. Looks kinda like the one Steve Mcqueen drove (abused) in The Hunter. oldscool
  8. Are we getting the proper cross ram intake manifold or are we getting the same old street hemi that has been in a half dozen other kits? The more I see of this one the more disappointed I am. oldscool
  9. Beautiful models! That Duesy is one of my all time favorite kits. oldscool
  10. I love that 60 Plymouth Savoy and the Checker is cool too. oldscool
  11. Here's some more pics: Engine is OOB except for air cleaners which came from the Revell Shelby 427 S/C kit. Here's another pic showing the improved fit of the bumper. Yeah, the mold seams on the bumper are still there but I don't have any BMF or Alclad to fix them with and this looks better than plain old silver paint to me. Thanks for the comments oldscool
  12. Thanks viz, it's Testors Lime Ice laquer. oldscool
  13. Haven't posted anything for a couple of months but I have been checking in almost daily. Here is some progress on the 56 Chevy: Now this is a face with real character. I did a little fiddling to make the bumper fit tighter against the body. Went with a white chassis just to be different. Hope you like it, oldscool
  14. Not pointy enough for Buck Rogers oldscool
  15. From the wording of the memo I think this policy is just to keep people in other countries from being confused about the name. I honestly believe that all the US car manufacturers should merge and just build one good American car brand. I just swapped a Dodge Dakota for a Ford Ranger and have no doubt that I made the right move. Didn't even consider a Chevy after reading online consumer reviews of the Colorado. oldscool
  16. That is the best build of that kit I have seen yet. Love it! oldscool
  17. I'll bet that car sounded unlike anything else. Great job! oldscool
  18. Beautiful! Nice red paint. oldscool
  19. Old black and white film prints can be misleading as they can make yellow look like a dark color and dark colors look light. I think it was called orthochromatic film that had this effect. Just saying that it could still be red. oldscool
  20. Another nice one! Has that John D'Agostino look to it. oldscool
  21. Nice model! I think it's good that you built it stock as I have almost never seen this kit built that way. I see you live in KY also. I have considered moving to Lexington for a better job but the one thing stopping me is the fact that the winters in Lex are even worse than they are in Pikeville. oldscool

    "Breakin"

    Holy guacamole!! oldscool
  23. I like that seat too. It doesn't have that "too fuzzy" look like a lot of model fabric has. oldscool
  24. Another one of my favorite Kits and these cars look very sinister in black. Looks like they have an evil grin. Nice painting. Keep posting progress pics. oldscool
  25. Nice smooooth body work! One of my favorite kits. Keep posting progress. oldscool
