  1. That is creative and different. I am assuming you are going for the roughly chopped look. My one suggestion would be to shorten the bed.
  2. Amen brother! My feelings exactly.
  3. I would get the guy fired from his job, but that's just my way of dealing with retail nazis.
  4. Now this is model building! And fantastic painting too:D
  5. Oh boy this is gonna be great! I love it!
  6. I have posted finished pics in Under Glass.
  7. That looks fantastic! Looks like the real thing.
  8. Don't know about a hood, but a Mopar super stock hood scoop should work nicely:P
  9. You should finish that coupe. It looks great!
  10. I think it looks great:). That color does look good on it.
  11. Sure George. The color is good old Testors spray can Copper enamel that has been around as long as I can remember. The moons were literally a snap fit in the kit wheels with no mods at all. The tires are also OOB. Thanks for the response.
  12. That's another great looking model and choice of colorB)
  13. Thanks and the moons came from the AMT double dragster kit. I knew as soon as I saw them that they would be going on this truck.
  14. Thanks and I love the old trucks too. This body style just seems to have a "pulled together" look that other trucks of the era don't have.
  15. Thanks, a compliment from a builder of your caliber is always appreciated Chuck. The color looks nicer in full sunlight.
  16. These scallops are included in the kit Harold and getting them on was like picking fly poop out of pepper:P
  17. Finally finished this one. It's done as a late 50s - early 60s mild custom. Hope you guys like it. keep on buildin' oldscool
  18. I could go for one with the Caddy mill or early hemi from their other kits to build a shine runner.
  19. That turned out really good.
  20. That's another great looking model Felix! Excellent paint.
  21. That's a great looking model Felix. I like the black paint also.
  22. I love it too! :DThese old Monogram kits always look good when built well...at least until you open the hood and see that firewall:P
  23. Man, that's a great old kit and still has a very well molded body in spite of its age. Can't wait to see what you do with it. oldscool
  24. Here are some pics of the rolling chassis and interior before I button her up. The heads, intake setup and exhaust manifolds came from the Revell 32 sedan kit. I had to lengthen the water hoses a little and I still have to connect the exhausts to the engine. oldscool
  25. This one is a beauty! oldscool
