  1. Well, the 4th pic is complete.... just a bit fuzzy. Send it to your local CTU! Maybe they can sharpen it up?
  2. Bob, didn't you also make bodies once in tissue paper soaked in white glue? Think it was you.... :?
  3. Chris, He's deleted. He was never approved and since last fall, nobody can get in to post unless they are approved. However, when you see new "reg" members, I suggest you guys do not check out their web sites. All you are doing is affirming that they will receive "hits" if they complete our registration form. However, thanks for the update Chris!
  4. Go Bob! I would love to see more of your work. Do you have a web site?
  5. I always thought that kit looked a little like a Yugo .... but that's just me I suppose.
  6. Because that is what FREE is! If you want to pay to have your photo hosted on another site.... you have to pay for the privilege. I use Fotki which charges me $30 a year for unlimited use and storage. They also have a free rate but the storage is very limited. Many other sites also have free "membership" levels but the storage use is sooo limited as to only allow only two or three dozen pictures before you reach max.... Best bet is to choose one site and pay the fee OR be happy with what you get for FREE!
  7. Our high NTSA crash standards are the reason many small European and Japanese autos are not sold here! It's just too expensive to retrofit something like the Swatch car for sale in America because it would double the price of the car.

    69 Camaro

Russ, the rims are by Pegasus, and they are Torque Thrust II's. That is a very nice looking Camaro... Jairus Like!!!
  9. Lemon Yellow Izzy, bright lemon yellow!
  10. Scott, there was an aftermarket company that offered some really cool Turbine wheels... forget their name at the moment.... but it'll come to me. I'll have to get back to you on this...
  11. Chris, If your bid is the winning bid, you will receive an email explaining all this. Registration on eModelcars.com is a requirement, and when you register, your mailing address will be one of the required pieces of information that is sent to the seller once the item closes. Paypal is the best way to send money quickly but that too requires you to register for another account. Best is for you to mail a money order if you are only looking for one item. A money order is a check purchased at the post office, bank or some grocery stores.
  12. My feeling is that dark shadows will cause a background to recede. Not black but mixing a touch of black with the green will yield darker shadows. Of course Yad is the artist here..... (And what an artist)

    BACK AGAIN

Welcome back B! Missed you and the t-design is on the drawing board.... still need it? (I hope)
  14. Beautiful so far! Just beautiful. I might have to try this with one of my illustrations too.... Just a suggestion, I realize your not done but if you put some darker shadows in the trees way back along the horizon it will make the image killer!!!
  15. Mark, that is very nice! when your done.... can I have it?
  16. Revell had a Mustang coupe funny. It was patterned after a '69 coupe and molded in metalflake blue. I know that this is not helpful but I am amazed at myself that I remember this..... :?
  17. Actually the Corvair Corsa hauled pretty well too! I had ours (a Corsa Fitch Sprint) up to 100 easy... Quicker off the line than a Corvette in many instances with only 155 h.p.!
  18. Very nice work Chris. I am quite impressed with your scratchbuilding skills.
  19. Well, your set for life.... ah, lb808... Hey, could you please put your name (first and last) in the signature text box (Profile) as we never run around with masks on here at MCM forums. Welcome aboard the crazy train! 8)
  20. As far as I know, nobody makes a good set currently. The Orange Crate has them... but the better set is found in the old MPC Fire Truck! If you have one....
  21. Very impressive! This is a great example of a too long post. Next time, please break it up into 3 postings... We still have a few friends here that use dial-up. As for the heat shield blanket on the bottom of the car, what is the material please? 8)
  22. I got to put a stop to this now.... NO NAKID GURLS ON THIS FORUM!!!!!!! Heck, a good 75% of the Internet is already showing that ######. You can't sling a dead cat, or a google search containing the word "model" without turning up some site showing skin. Here we discuss model cars, sometimes aircraft (Ismael), sometimes choppers and sometimes we talk about the other stuff too.... like religion and politics. But I draw the line at lascivious posts! Okay? Ok! Now, links to ebay stuff is good as long as you put it in the trading section but eModelcars.com is FREE! FREE So I cannot see why we cannot use that for all our sales along with posting a link in the trade section! Links to other sites are okay too…. If I see a problem then I will remove it but let’s cross that bridge when the bottle is half full… er, I messed that up…. ….ah, nevermind….
  23. Pop Hot Rod cover car circa 1973!
