Wow, thanks for telling my about carsinbarns! Although it's really sad to look at, for some reason I like it...I've always thought'd be cool to completely go through a car and restore it, except for the body, leaving rust/dents/bodywork showing and what-not. It's not the non-functionality I like, it's the body damage.

Great job on that build, I love 1:1, what with their authenticity and the like. It's a bonus to put meaning into anything. I'm a Junior in high school too, and I just bought my first car for $400...although not a Corvair. I laughed at the half-coincidence though =) I bought a 1972 Ford F250 Camper Special if anyone was curious
