  1. Okay, heres an update. Filled the center area with superglue
  2. Man, we must be thinking a like. That's how I feel on projects as well. BTW thanks for the answer to my question I had asked. It's easy to misunderstand something.. I should have been more clear with my question before too.
  3. I think you miss my question my friend, I was wondering what did you use to attach the round stock to the other round stock on the front cross member. It looks like super glue, but was wanting to make sure though.
  4. I would say embossing powder.
  5. Here is a better photo of the underside Primer time again Right after those photos was taken, I corrected the rear wheel well height on the driver side, plus I also felt the drain holes in the area under the rear seat area was too small so I engraved the circles a little bigger. I hope you all enjoyed the update, all comments towards the project is welcome
  6. All button up now Had to lower a few areas Started to add some detail to the rear floor pan area under the rear seat area
  7. I been busy with this one. Since the last update. I did get quite done to the one side. I got the area in primer, got the other side done as well. It's till in rough stages yet. Yes, the driver side area is a mm to tall.. I took care of it though later on Here I'm staring to work on the driver side floor pan area next to the frame rail
  8. Okay, while I was working on a project thing evening. I got to thinking about why we all sometimes like to go that extra mile at times with a little more detail on some projects when we build our projects. So my question or ceriousty is this, why do some of us when detailing a project go that extra detail step for? For me, when I do a build, it depends on what I'm building.. at times I like to push myself on my building skills and just go for it then after that home in the skill a little better. I also at times just like to see what I can do on detailing is all. But the thing that I like to do or try to do is make the project be realistic as I possibly can LOL.
  9. I hope you don't mind me asking, but what did you use to attach the fittings together on the front axle?
  10. I hope you have enjoyed the update here. All comments towards the project is welcome. Any questions ask, I will try to answer best as I can if I see the question.
  11. New piece of floor pan in the making here
  12. Checking to see how things look and if they line up Yep. now I had to chop the pass side part to bring it in 2mm about Now after I got the other area done, was time to take care on the pass side outer piece now. Sine I going to redo the wheel wells with more correct ones from the other chassis. I cut into this one. I am keeping all piece to glue back together though so I can maybe use them later down the road
  13. I removed to much so had to fill in some I was cleaning some glue off the back piece here
  14. Had to lower the tranny hump 1mm down Yep, had to slipt it as well and bring it in about 2mm
  15. Hi you all, well I'm working on the rear roof pan that is just under the rear seat. My wife when she was at the local hobby shop the other day. She picked me up some extra chassis's that was broken here an there that was also charger chassis. So I been working with the one as a parts donor. I just about got the pass side rough out in shape. Anyways, I'll let the photos do the talking here. LOL
  16. I love to see the photos but sadly for me, I can't see them. Can you maybe host them somewhere else?
  17. The floor pan.. I'm hoping to maybe have a metal floor pan stamp by the weekend I hope you all enjoyed the progress update photos, all comments about the project is welcome, an I'll try to answer any questions best as I can if I see them
  18. In this one, you can see how far I tilted the center floor pan piece forward The mock up with the tail panel held in place
  19. A few exterior mock ups
  20. Th double mark lines in the rear, one is for the interior, the second one closer to the center is the tilt downwards one of the floor pan from the rocker/interior level
  21. Transmission cross area I have to add to an extend it up about 3mm and remove the lower cross piece that bolts up to the transmission
  22. Now, looking straight down on the shell and floor pan, the blue line is my interior line, the kit floor board piece covers this by 2mm at least which would be incorrect. Now if you picture the interior piece's in place on the blue line, you will then see how fast the car would look more realistic leave that 1mm of space for the side windows to set, just like in the real cars
