It looks like one of the boring no style at all new/old charger turtle nose front end on a Mustang now. -
Each time I go to do some work on this project, it rains. The last few days I went to work on this project and all it did was rain.. I want to at lease get the cab mounts done and get the suspension pieces built and attach out of metal..

Now I sanded down and made a indentation and then glued in a 3mm x 4mm block.. and then filed it down to make the lip like what the real 2nd gen charger trunk pan has

Hi you all, well we been having some storms here in PA, so I'm doing what I can on a few projects that I have going. I got the rear seat floor pan area done just a bout (just have to add the wheel well). I also got the original factory kit shock cross member area taken care of as well and got the new trunk pan piece for that area almost done. Working on the wheel wells now. Anyways I'm going to leave the photos do the talking. Please over look my camera, I think it's starting to go out on me.

"General Lee" Questions
MoparWoman Jamie replied to Jim B's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
The push bar was used on the old dirt tracks back in the for when the stock cars would bump into the other racer in front. The car according to season seven episode 1 which is Happy Birthday General Lee. The is really a stolen vehicle that two bank rubbers took to flee the police. After getting over into the next county and hiding gold dust up under the dash and then getting back on there way. A cop decided to side swipe them off the road and down into a ditch bring the charger to complete stop and wrecking the front end and putting a dent in the driver side door. The rubbers was taken to jail while the car to the story line was taken to the junkyard and drop/sold off. As the wrecker was leaving, the Duke cousins Bo and Luke Duke pulled into the parking spot with Cooters tow truck looking for a car to put there motor into for a race they had coming up that following weekend. The charger was a black exterior one with a tan interior. But now the thing is, the push bars design changed during the series for a reason. Small push bar was damaging the grills on the cars and also lower val panel. Wide one didn't do any damage to the car parts and was actually functional too. If your looking for General Lee items in 1/24 scale, shoot me a PM as I make all the items needed right down to the dixie horns. -
Here you can see the panel accents or what ever they are called Primer time to see what areas I still need to work in yet I hope you all enjoyed the update, any comments towards the project is always welcome.

Okay, spent last evening engraving details Keep in mind, this all is still rough stage yet Some little scalping Bolt plate holes was drilled out or marked out
-
I got to work on this area yet Did a little more sanding As you can maybe notice, I bought the center rear area forward 1mm from where it was at before I still have to add the ribs yet on all 3 panels yet and also make the locking lip on the very front area piece as well. Then make all the little plates, plus add the square piece to the tunnel hup. Then I can move to the wheel wells and rest of the trunk pan. I hope you all enjoyed this update, comments towards the project is always welcome.

Okay, here is some details. The small holes is the drain plugs, the real floor pans also have these to. I still have to add a few more yet plus make a few other od and ends too that will attach to the metal version of the model pan down the road.
-
Still have this side to reshape yet Okay, sanded things down to level a few things out
-
Some sanding to shape things up Okay I gave it a good coat of primer.. okay okay, I layed it on
