Starting on it this week sometime.. I honestly can't wait to be honest. All comments are welcome towards build. -
Okay, here is yet another project build I'm working on. But this one I'm building for my son which is a fan of the Dukes of Hazzard. I m not at all building this kit box stock by no means. I been wanting to build one of these bigger scales for a while now and even more for my son. But the fun part is of this will be I'm going to try to make this project rc able. I will rework the whole interior, and fix the shell, grill, frame, engine bay. I will get photos post soon as I can.

1969 - "General Lee" Revell Dodge Charger

I beg the difference on the push bar of the MPC being correct, you show me a tv series push bar screen cap from the show that looks like the MPC one with very thin bars and huge side plates and I will apologize to you. There two push bars used during the show. A small narrow one (a 1970's small truck push bar), and a custom made ones (by the tv show mechinces made in season 3) wide one later on in the series that filled almost the whole front of the car. The jump cars push bars bottoms was cut off under the bumper line for ramp clearance issues only on the jump cars. BTW, to the person that built the General Lee model in this thread, I think you did one very very great job at your project! I love the build that you shared with us in 2011. -

To me, it looks like the hatch sets on the roof with a insert piece (the black piece) on the inside part of the hatch panel. -
I like watching these kind of builds, and Harry, it's people with your kind of skills that makes these kind of builds really come to life. I really downright enjoy turning in to watch these come to life. Keep up the great work man! If you don't mind me asking, what do you think your next build will be?

I'm working in the rear of this project yet. I can't build the metal frame rails yet until I get the trunk pan fabricated. Doing some drawing now

Hi Joe, thanks for the kind comment. I'm using real console photos as ref and also my own real console. I made a mistake in the one side on the model console and am redoing the front side piece. for the chassis I'm real 2nd gen charger photos as ref as well along with my real charger. I hope to have photos up later on here tonight.

Been working on the console, plus starting to make the brass frame rails also. Will have progress photos asap.
