  1. Boy did someone steer you in the wrong direction, Harry! LOL
  2. They can't even manage them self's or what they do. USA needs help big time.
  3. Thanks you all for the nice comments, I been working on the rear leafs. Making the new leaf mount an leaf as well. Got one mount almost done. I should have an update in the next few days for you all to see. I'm kinda moving around on the project here an there.
  4. You are also correct, it's not only his fault but also the foreign bidder out side our country as well. They didn't seem to read the auction very well, just went ahead an bidded. There for if they would have taken the time to read the auction of his, they would have clearly understanded his rules an also where he ships to before placing a single bid on his items or item.
  5. I vote for the 1st & 3rd photo! lol , they have style.
  6. If you sell internally on ebay, you can't track the package yourself, BUT the custom's form you filled out at the Post Office an the small tab given to you does in fact have a tracking number on it that form the people at the Post Office can an has to track by going through Inter Pole can in fact track. I used it afew times myself in the past.
  7. Thank you for the link, I just gave them mine LOL you can say. My opinion to them was to use better plastic. I been working with one of their kits for over a year an I swear it's one of the worst plastic's I have worked with in any kit I have built over the years.
  8. Your welcome for me showing the door hinges. But the door hinges are alittle hard to build to be honest. The ones you see here are like my 5th set I think I made for this very project. The reason being is the cab is not really straight up an down like most cabs are. This cab is at a slant meaning the top of the door where the top hinge is fasten at is level but the bottom door area goes out wards. There for the bottom door hinge isn't fasten to the wire rod at all it just slides on it to help the door give the clearance it needs to open an clear the cab as well at the front of the door area. If the bottom was glued like top was the door wouldn't open to well at all if maybe at all. Yes your correct, the project is going to get more and more interesting from here out. My brother came up with the paint scheme he wants this model to have, that will also be interesting for me to do too I might add LOL. The frame he wanted gloss black. He is how ever letting me call some of the shots also on the project too. You are also correct about the sleeper, yes I did enlarge the sleeper to fit the 1/24 scale drivers cab (sleeper was pose to be or been a 1/24 scale one from the get go when my brother bought the sleeper). Yes this model will feature the real aluminum wheels from KFS as well. But I might have to track down new bolts an nuts for in the rims though (the ones that came with the rims rusted while in the baggy). So I been looking at Scare Hardware for that stuff to replace the bolts an nuts maybe.
  9. Thanks you all for the comments, to be honest when my brother seen the stuff yesterday himself an seen the working brake pedal he also said I was insane too for that move. Here is a making of the rear leafs in metal form an not plastic. I'm using the plastic as a shaper an jig Here is the headlight bezel an light glass future shined into place with the LED only held into place for a mock up to see how it will look.
  10. I do open doors almost all the time on my projects when I can, it depends on the model your working on an the body shell contures. You don't want a body conture hitting the door an taking paint of both pieces (fender an door). You can use round stock either in evergreen or brass with wire rod running through it an bending the wire rod in either a slight "v" shape or "u" shape (to clear the door opening an the fender) an glue the round stock to the shell an glue the wire rod to the inner side of the door. but to glue the stuff in an to make sure the stuff is all line up. Tape the door in place an work from the back side, an use a ecto knife to help slide the hinge into place an glue then. I don't think the hinges from the hardware store will work though unless the area is nice an flat.
  11. The seats will get some re-ranging
  12. An yes the ash tray does really open an close. Now here I took an chopped the vent out an turnt it around an inside out
  13. Another mock up. Here is the dash. The dash will have gauges an things when finish.
  14. Now the fun part, starting the wiring up to make things work.. like on a real vehicle.. Yes, the brake pedal do really function an make the light work when the pedal is press down.
  15. Some mock ups The other pedal, clutch.
  16. Here I varnished the floor, it was still wet yet. Dried Here is the pedals, well one, the brake predal. Being finish off almost.
