  1. 11 degrees right now, wind chill is -5, another snow storm starts tomorrow afternoon. This stuff has gotten old.
  2. 37 years of being wrong and at fault here. Wouldn't trade her for 2 half her age.
  3. The new Revell 57 Belair sedan is so much better than the old AMT and MPC kits that it's the best starting place by far.
  4. All you have do do is remember 3 things to say at every disagreement. 1. I was wrong. 2. I'm sorry. 3. I won't do it again.
  5. failure
  6. We got about 4 inches of the white fluffy........er, well you know, stuff today, another inch coming tonight. The 7 day forecast has snow listed on 5 of the days. But hey, we've only got about another 10 weeks or so of winter to go...
  7. I'm even older school, CASH!
  8. Looks great, is this kit related to the old metal body kit?
  9. I can think of a "few " Target shoppers who wished they'd used a check.
  10. I'd tell that Chevy dealer I wanted my money back, what I'd payed for it minus the mileage, and I want it quick so I could buy a new FORD Mustang while the 2014's were still out.
  11. Life was so much simpler when we thought they were icky and had cooties.
  12. A friend of mine lost both of his legs below the knees in Vietnam, but gets around very well on his new limbs. So well in fact that he rides a two wheeled Harley. Indiana has handicap plates for bikes and he has them on his. I know of several times he's had the same experience as yours.
  13. Getting 1 to 2 inches now to add to the 18 or so we already have just to make this weekend's melt down even more interesting.
  14. Well, at least in these temps his rudder won't be dragging.
  15. Next, this weekend we will be in the low 40's with rain, melting snow and all, with the ground super frozen. Can anybody say severe flooding?
  16. Ed, that's priceless!
  17. I may have cracked some ribs, but at least I didn't pull the bike over on me. Shoveling last night didn't help either.
  18. OK, the water is back on, but.......... While I was out in my over packed storage unit of a garage to put heat on the water heater and well tank I was climbing over my Harley, slipped, and fell back into the floor jack and landed on the mower deck. I'm in pain, and my grandson still wants to build my models for me. Did I say I'm in pain?
  19. The pluming is still froze, it's up to a blistering +5 degrees and my 9 year old grandson wants to build MY MODELS! Oh, and the weather channel says it's 19 degrees in Fairbanks Alaska.
  20. Frozen pipes, no water, first time for this in over 20 years. I should be back at work.
  21. The Police here are ticketing people for being out driving.
  22. OK, got the call an the shop is closed tomorrow, that's the first time I know that to have happened. It'd be a good day to build except the grandkids are snowed in here and the schools are closed too.
  23. I found some 1/25 diecast Harleys at Wal-Mart a few years back. They were stock, and there were Knuckle and Pan Heads so a chopper shouldn't be too hard to do. They were cheap too. Also someone is resin casting the old Ace / Indian 4 in resin. It's also stock but not cheap.
