Back in the early 90's we had an ice storm in late April. Power was out for 10's of thousands and schools and businesses were closed for 3 days. My best friends power was out for 10 days, into early May.

By doing the same thing the other mini truckers are doing.

I'm 60 years old and have spent all of those winters in central Indiana. I have seen ice storms in April, and snow in May. And those years weren't as cold or as snowy as this year. I don't expect it to be constantly spring like weather until late May or June this year.

Thats nothing! 6 to 10 here starting late Saturday night through Monday morning. Then the bottom drops out of the temps again.

Right now it is 18 with a wind chill of 4, this Sundays storm could drop 8 inches of the S stuff, and record lows are expected Tuesday. DO NOT think for a moment that because the calender says "first day of spring" on it in 3 weeks that mother nature will take that as a requirement to warm up.

I have basic Dish mostly for the wife and grand kids (and so my old TV's will pick up something!). I agree that the car shows are far from entertaining, and that Phantomworks is the worse. I feel sorry for you if you think there is anything real about reality TV. What do I "watch" most of the time? Sirius 60's on 6. It's part of the package and I can still read or build.

Wednesdays forecast is 18 for a high, zero for a low. In the next week forecast there is not one temp over 30. But hey, as each day goes by and we are one day closer to next winter!
