The Revell 53/54 sedan delivery and 210 2 door sedan both have "Problems" but can be built stock with some work and kit bashing. Monogram did a 53 Belair hardtop in 1/24 that is easy to find and has all the stock items included.
A friend had one in high school, and that was a long time ago, but I seem to remember a knob you turned down buy the inside door handle, like the '68 - '77 Vettes.
Equipment violation tickets on bikes that were legal in their home state, loud pipe tickets on bikes with stock exaust and aren't even running, tickets for loitering while waiting at a red light, ect.........
About sums it up for me, except I havn't owned a V8 in years. Oil companies make 8% on gasoline, the goverment gets 15% and calls the oil companies gready. I still drive no more than I have to when the price is up, sorry retailers.
My hobby budget has been very limited for 3 years, this can't help. I plan on riding my motorcycle as much as I can, rain or shine because it gets about 50 MPG. I also go nowhere I don't have to to keep my miles down. Sadly this includes trips to the hobby store.
I saw one of those in yellow yesterday at the Indy IPMS swap meet for $65. about the same as a good resin kit. I would have bought it and cut it up if I'd had the bucks.
I have never had good results from an airbrush, they are flat more trouble than they are worth. It could be that I use actual automotive paint which is "high build", I have used an automotive touch up gun for 25 years, the same one I started with.
The 64 was a 2% car (wheelbase change limited to 2% of the wheelbase) , the wild cars were 65's. Ten inches forward in the front, 15 in the rear if my memory serves me.
