  1. Jo-Han super stock max wedge headers would be nice, along with fenderwell headers for gassers.
  2. These early 'Vettes look best with the top down, but if you want to build a race car the hardtop is needed.
  3. The body side sculpturing, check the front fenders, thats where its most obvious.
  4. I think I'll get a second kit and stretch them myself. I was going to do the floor in wood so its not an issue. Thanks for the info guys!
  5. Yes, please do, it looks great!
  6. I've read that there will be no hardtop, but the rear glass for one is in the test shot, so ???
  7. That camper never did have an interior, I remember building it as a kid. But I didn't think all of it was in the re-issue.
  8. They lost hundreds of thousands of potential fans that day.
  9. The F-1 race in Indianapolis a few years back didn't help.
  10. Didn't one of the recent AMT ElCameno reissues have most of a slip in camper in it?
  11. Great start, I be watching this one.
  12. You are off to a great start! I have seen the right wheels in resin on ebay recently so yo might be lucky there. As far as the roof is concerned, the sedan roofs are much different, not just the post
  13. I think I remember someone talking about casting long fleetside bed sides for the Revell 65 kit. Did this happen? Thanks in advance.
  14. That's why no one forces anyone to join, I have no interest in big rigs but there is an active CBP going on for those that do.
  15. Yes, I think the 61 was trimmed better, with the two toned coves and lack of rocker moldings, but the 62 did have the 327!
  16. The Revell 59 were never as plentiful as their 58's were, both are due for a reissue.
  17. Top notch! I'm impressed with the corrected deck hinges, that always looked so wrong to me.
  18. Ugly is a personal opinion thing, I condenser about every 1958 car built ugly, but say something like a 56 Chevy convertible in a red and white two tone would be pretty sharp, a 56 Chevy 4 door hardtop two toned mustard yellow and green, not so much. I guess it would have to be up to the builder.
  19. All I've seen are the photos from the I-Hobby show of the test shot. Based on the Revell 58 / 59 kits it should be a great kit. I was going to try and mate the old AMT 62 with an MPC 60 front to come up with something "buildable", But I'll gladly wait. Long overdue subject, but I can hear the "don't we have enough Corvettes allready" cries coming.
  20. What he is referring to is the pressings on the side of the frame rails on the 32 Fords. My suggestion would be to use the much better frame rails from a Revell 32 Ford kit.
  21. Some guy on ebay used to sell resin ones all of the time, he might still list one. OK, I'm in with a '70 AAR Cuda, done in 1/25 from a Jo Han '71 pro stocker. I'll post some photos later today. I may add others later if this runs long.
  22. How about a "Tick off the whine and moaners" 32 Ford, tri five Chevy and first generation Camaro CBP?
  23. Lots more to it than that. Chassis X bracing and the whole back half of the interior are different.
  24. My wife had a 71 sportroof when we got married, this is a subject LONG overdue for a modern re-tool.
  25. I'm out of town again, still thinking..........
