  3. Cool buil, Art. What was your starting point or inspiration for this build?
  4. Brian, I could not agree more about the atmosphere here!!! AND Welcome!!!
  5. Ricky, I'm sorry no one properly welcomed you! So here goes, Welcome to the party, Now pass the pie and chips!!!
  6. Now your taking my language!!! Nice looking build. can wait to see it finished! Still hangin' on to my '67 Base coupe! I gotta get that thing back on the road! Kills me to see it in such a state of disrepair!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
  7. Ok I am ready to play!!!!! For my pics check out!http://public.fotki.com/glennn/ebay_fords-1/ Just a fews pics before the Ol' Super Clean bath!!!
  8. Guess I am gone to have to clear the workbench to find my camera so I can play too! I just got my second ebay score today. This time it's a '60 Ford Sunliner, brush- painted black w/black and white interior! Now I need to find a '61 for the trio!
  9. Ol' DE would be proud to drive that! looks good!
  10. Now that's my kind of shop truck. Be on the lookout for El Camino Billy,He's liable to try to sneak off with the keys!LOL Can't wait to see the finished build.
  11. Man. I love both of those old red Fords. That 61(?) Starliner is killer. Thanks for posting these WILDRICE!!!
  12. I'm with Aaron. It is time for Revell to reissue this as a Caliwheels Kit! How about some Real Twisted Intros (not that Motor City, Diecast leftover stuff) in this baby, Revell?
  13. Very clean build, David! I like the colors, they really jimp off the screen at you! I like bikes, I just wished there were more in 1/25 scale out there. These large scale bikes kinda overpower the model shelf, and there is a lack of hauling equipment in this scale.
  14. Man. you musta cornered the market on those Comets/Mavericks! I can't wait to see this one finished!!!
  15. I can't find my workbench, to look for my camera, to take pictures of the mess!LOL
  16. I'd like to play but a month won't be long enough to strip the paint offa mine, much less finish it!LOL I recently scored a 62 ford sunliner off ebay. It's black with red interior now. Kinda thinkin' 'bout maybe a coat of Hampstead Green with a Dark green interior.
  17. SCM, I like them all but the wagon is my fav. I have developed a love affair with those things.
  18. That smile makes every thing worth while!
  19. David, I like this alot. Nice look to it. You woul not be afraid to crooze in it1 Is that the seat from the 37 ford convertible I see in there, and did you open the grille up or paint the the depressed places? Either way it is very real looking! Nice Build!
  20. EC Billy, I scored both versions of the Gran Sport on Evil bay recently at Very reasonable prices. Might pay to check around there or emodels for the older issues.
  21. Welcome gasser, I could agree with your quote more. BTW you might want to put your full name in the signature(refer to the stickie at the top of this section). Just a neat way to keep us all on the same page.
  22. Jairus, when I was a JR and SR in HS, I worked a a small Chevy dealership in Clayton, GA. The guy that owned the place was a retired Army COL from AK. His one automotive love in lfet was Corvairs. He had 13 of them. Everything from station wagons and vans to coupes and convertibles. My two favs were a beatiful 69 convertible and a scary- fast tan 66 hardtop. Man would love to own those cars today. The Col's motto was "Screw Nader"! I like the wagon too! That would be popular at prom time around here!
  23. David, thanks for post your builds. They kinda bring back High School memories. When I was a freshman there was a senior named Oakland (first name) who had a Maverick that was bitchin'. It was black on black with Big-n-Little Mickeys on Torq thrust. and a sweet 302. I saw him recently and asked him about that car. He said he was in the process of trying to repurchase it. I may print your pics to show him.
