I keep mine in a sheet protector secured
in an old three ring binder that I keep on
my bookshelf. Stops the curling and damage.
The protector does seal out some moisture.

I believe the 1st release(pro Modeler) has a higher parts count,
due to to more photoetch. I also believe they represent different
versions of the car. Seems like I remember two different hoods
in the kits
More when I can locate them in the archives
(the big closet stuffed with kits)
I agree with you are saying. I would not spend what little
model money I had "back in the day" on Johan.
I really wished now I had. The made some cool stuff.
Maybe with the AMT probelm they can make a resurgence.

I agree with the comments about the5 spokes from the 59' vette kit.
I have a stash just for the wheels. I think they are also in the Cali Wheels
64 chevy pickup. I have that but have not opened one to check the wheels.

After my last post I looked closely at the Impala;
Compared to your avatar looks as if they should
have simply kept the horizonals (?) a couple of more years!
Check out the new issue of Camaro Performers magazine (Sept 07).
There is a really nice 2nd Gen Camaro in factory green in there.
BTW i really like the LOOK you are going for.......
