  1. Well its finally back. The new "minilites" are a mild disappointment But i'll get over it as soon as those beautiful ralleys go on my buildup of revell's 66 el camino.

  4. Tim, I would check out Trainworld in Brooklyn for those trucks in G scale or the Bachmann website. Best way to find both of them is google.

  11. JMTCW, but KarGuy2 represents all that is good on ebay. Bought that 60 sedan and the 55-57 Suburban body as well as the newly issued Model King 65 Fairlane and 65 Chevelle stockers from him. A-1 service. Can't wait to finish some stuff to start on the 57 Sub.
  12. There is no track around home, but in Calhoun Ga there is a hobby shop that I trade with (They are the source for my Model Car fix). They have three tracks; Two roundy-rounds and a drag strip. Sometimes a few folks will come in in the middle of the day when I am by there. Man those cars can fly. makes me wanr to open those Carrea's that I bought to collect.

  14. Congrats, John. I got Mine (grail) a few days ago. The Old '61 Buick special wagon. I guess patience pays 'cause the one I finally won wasn't even painte, so no stripping was needed. I can make up my mind what color to paint it. Kinda leaning to Chrysler Alpine Green Pearl with a white top! Any suggestions will be considered though.

  19. Nah! The eyes aren't that sharp. The shape of the handle is almost like a trademark with those folks. And I have spent the last 21 years of my life in hardware stores, both working in them and selling to them.
  20. That hammer looks like a brick masons' hammer, possibly made by Estwing.The pick end was used to score and break brick in the days before the portable saws they used nowadays . BTW, Nice tip!
