  1. Yet the Fleetside version is relatively hard to find now ... Strange isn't it?
  2. I don't care who ya are, dat's funny ... and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
  3. I too agree with one under-glass. I might not look at a "on the workbench" on something that does not interest me, but I DO enjoy seeing the finished work posted in all genres including the trucks of all kinds.
  4. Looks Good! Nice finish!!!
  5. Got my order from him very quickly last week!!! Glad to hear about about the fast post order service!!
  6. Just hungry for Lyle Willits eye candy even old (Never Stale) leftovers ... Thanks for bringing it back!!
  7. Thanks for the info. We all need all the prayers we can get.
  8. Pass the Popcorn, Please!
  9. Why??? Chuck is checking for interest in doing a CBP , which is the acronym for a Community Build Project. "How about a CBP based around the good old straight six?' I"ll bite, Chuck!
  10. Looks Great and Welcome to the forum!!!
  11. "As this is only my 4th build I have done in 24 years. My first modded build. I think I may stop now ... Great Job! It's obvious the care that went in to the build!!!
  12. Suck Up!!! Just Kidding! Harry, I am liking this more every day but I do have a question. Do my annoying attempts to get the attention of Revell for modified reissues/new tooling kits still go in "general" or else where???
  13. Beautiful Drag car, Very "believable"!!!
  14. Jamie, I echo all of the above posts and will add only one word... WOW!!! Seriously, that color is nothing less than amazing on this build (care to share what it is?) Love the cab conversion. Did you use the kit glass as a starting point? Lastly, you found a great use for those taillights . I don't care for them at all on the 1:1 Cameo's; they look like they almost had the truck designed and the bean-counters came in and said "We are way over budget, so you have to use up all of these old leftover 54 Chevy Belair taillights..."
  15. It all just looks "right" together... Great Job!!!
  16. Kinda make me think of Tommy Boy's poor car!!!
  17. Harry, the prize is the company!!! I don't type (hunt and peck!) fast enough for a high post count!!! besides I am too busy editing what I just posted for a better read ...
  18. The trick is, as you know, that an extension ladder's "Length" is the total of the two sections. It was only twelve feet long and an Astro has 8 feet of floor space from the back of the front seat to the rear doors allowing sheet goods to be hauled flat. I used to deliver 1/4 x4x8 lexan sheets that way in it!!!
  19. Is that your ODD logo on the spoke of the Tri Blade? I agree "are not my style" but still look very cool!!!
  20. I wonder that every time I pull out those pre-painted Coronet kits from Polar Lights! I keep looking for the perfect T/W combo to finally finish them and stick them way up high on the shelf!!! Best part of them is the Jairus Watson artwork on the box!!!
  21. OK!! I'll Play along... No Pics but when I was a sales rep for Eison Industrial/Hardware supply house, I would deliver the 24' extension ladders that I sold with my '03 Chevy Astro. Problem was no roof rack, so I would put them INSIDE the van. They will actually fit from the dash to the dutch door with 1/2" to spare!!! I guess that's the reason the dash pad is cracked now... LOL!!
  22. Careful ... That may wind up on one of those crazy internet sites showing pictures of people hauling stuff on vehicles not intended to "haul stuff"!!!
  23. Nick, I have really come to enjoy following your builds. I am sssooo glad you stuck it out here on the forum. Your skills have developed exponentially from the first time you posted here. These are my favorite "late model" Chevy pickups!! Can't wait to see it finished!!!
  24. This is my 1200th post! I have been around for a loooonggg time here. I don't post every time I come here, but I always enjoy the company in our own little corner of the web, provided by the Big Kahuna! Thanks Gregg and all who make this forum the fun and informative place that it is!
  25. He has a LONG way to go before he should even THINK of charging ( ) to build a model for someone He just was askin' for you supply the kit, nothing more... Nuff Said!
