  8. Sharpie make a set of 3 piece "wood" color markers that can be used for woodgraining with decent results. I will try to post pics of the 55 Ford pickup bed that I did with them ...

  14. Never had any as a kid ... but now! My youngest son works for one of the Lego retail stores! I got hooked on the Trains and the City/Construction vehicle stuff! He is into the Building Sets that he is building into a city blocks I will try to post pictures of what he has done so far.

  18. Great tip Steve, but I think what the issue he is wanting to address is the character line that wraps around the fender at the top. If he is not confident in his skills he may be apprehensive about sanding the flat styrene to match the kit fender. BTW, Thanks for sharing 'cause I want to widen a set of rear fenders for an upcoming '70 Chevy project! Much like your shop truck from a couple of years ago!
  19. Nice job Curt!!! Looks Very sharp! I have two in my stash. One to replicate my Dad's old 1:1 from back in the day. Bought from the local 'shine runner. Motivation by 312 from his transport car, after it was totaled . The other is for me, as if it was still around and unlimited funds were available. I plan on a Revell 302 V-8 borrowed from a 3 window coupe kit. Sort of a shop truck in progess build...
