  5. Thank you guys, the challenge is just part of the fun, I just hope I don't get discouraged. If you "Google" Games Workshop you will be able to purchase the washes from them, also, if you have a Games Workshop store near you.
  6. Thanks guys and yes, it's an extremely challenging kit, right now I am not too far from throwing it against the wall. The chassis to body fit issues are going to be crazy, it's the main reason I have not painted the body yet, I am doing a lot of test fitting to try to make it eassier at the end.....
  7. Thanks bro! Those were hand painted using the 2 brushes in the picture, I thought it was too much work masking those things...
  8. Well, I am still at it with the Porsche.... Hosted on Fotki
  9. I have completed the interior, detailed the rims and also started working around the detail in the trunk. Here are the pictures.... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  10. You ain't fibbing brother!!!
  11. Pour the stuff in a small container and just dip your model or part in it. The smaller the container, the less you will waste. You should also be able to use it more than once if you seal it after use.
  12. I have always used Future floor wax which now is called Pledge with Future shine. I just place the P/E part slightly to the side where it will go, dab a small amount of Future and move the P/E part onto it. Once dry, I will cover the whole part with another coat and I am done. I too like to polish the part before installing it. The best way I have found to do this is with the 3 stage sanding sticks, it leaves an incredible shine....
  13. I have been using this stuff for a while and I think it's great but they are not selling it at my local WalMart anymore, I just hope I can get it somwhere else...
  14. I don't need your videos brother but I will tell you this much, there's always something new you can learn, so, I'm still checking them out!!! Thanks for sharing!!
  15. Oh! How I wish I had a wife so cooperative and understanding of my needs!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7z-D9vJRPE&feature=related

  17. Don't understand a word they are saying but we speak "model" language here anyways!!! This is a very cool video, follow all of them until the end, it will surely make you want to go to the bench and get some work done!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-cnjObQDJ8&NR=1
  18. I always enjoy looking at the manufacturing process of models even by smaller companies...
  19. Very cool man, the flames give it a mean look in conjunction with the black color!!!
  20. Very cool build, color looks great on it. Looks a lot like the old Datsun.... Hosted on Fotki
  21. Look on page 2 of this Tips and Tricks Tutorials section and click under Panel Lines, it has just been covered!
  22. Cranky and twisted, we surely lost him.... This is too cool though...
  23. I would buy them but would use them exclusively on parts and small details, I wouldn't use them for bodies or large surfaces.
  24. Looks like a cool project, the cinammon color will look good on it. I think the rims and wheels are too big for it but it's your car and choice.
  25. Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing, I will be another one trying it!!!
