  1. Guys, don't be fooled into thinking that digital images aren't of the quality of old fashioned or regular photography, these new digital cameras are definitely way ahead of their time. You still need to know the basics like aperture and lighting conditions to take the best images possible. I too own several non digital SLR's but when their digital counterparts started getting more advanced, I trashed the other ones. I am not expecting people to become picture posting gurus from one day to the other but I will guarantee you that when you start playing with these new digital cameras, you will be leaving the other ones collecting dust. It's the future and no one can stop that.....
  2. Did I say it in Spanish???? Whoa!! No, I just looked back at the original post and it's still in English!!!
  3. I would like to say in general but I must be fair when requesting something like this, I mean, I also have to understand that not everyone here has the means of getting or for that matter, buying a digital camera, forgive me for not thinking ahead when posting the request. It's just a little frustrating when people want to be updated quickly, I think I'm. Just spoiled!!!
  4. That's right fellas, if you want to show something that it's available or close to being available, please, PLEASE, show pictures. I really hate when someone says "I got this and that" and forgets to show the pictures. If you don't own a camera, well, you didn't get anything that we might be interested in........ PLEASE!!!!!!!!! If you "DO" own a camera, shame on you!!!!
  5. Where are the pictures????
  6. It was cool seeing this at the NNL last week and I must say, it's awesome Mike, loved those rims and details overall!!!
  7. Awesome work bro!!!
  8. Very cool!!!
  9. Love these things!!!!!!
  10. Just when I thought I would keep my promise of not buying any more kits, BANG! They pull me right back in!!! I am liking this one a lot, I will wait for the reviews though, I want this one to be correct!!!
  11. One thing to remember though, if you want to use the 12,000 grit paper, you have to make sure to gradually use previous grits successively, in other words, if you start with the 4000, you have to use the 6000 next, then the 8000 until reaching the last one. Your 12,000 grit will not handle the job without the help of these others.
  12. Wow Andy, the engine detail is phenomenal, love the red rims and the rings, goes well with the body color!! Great job, hope to see it at the next meeting!!!
  13. Looks awesome bro, you really don't need the bumper, gives it more of a used look with a lot of miles and years on the road!!!
  14. Thanks guys, I took some outside pictures of this thing, gloss on the paint is definitely more noticeable!!! Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  15. Good to see you back at the bench Jeff, you know how much I have always admired your work. Hope you can work out your health issues, always important to make that a priority. I have that same kit and did the same thing in opening the grille, makes a big difference and even looks better than a photo-etch one. Good luck w/ this project, hope to see you in May at our Mid-Atlantic NNL!!!
  16. Thanks a lot Russell, I was given the option to include the information about the issues of the kit, it was I who decided on that, don't worry, I have enough positive feedback to feel good about the work done on this build. Thanks for your input also, I am glad you liked it!!!
  17. Thanks Tom, as usual, it was a great event. Happy to have spent some time with a lot of the people here in the forum and even with people as far as France!!! Congratulations on a great event year after year!!!
  18. Congratulations little buddy!!! You deserve it!!!

  20. Thanks guys, Peter, we have to meet, I don't think I remember meeting you, then again, I am really bad with names and faces Anyway, took some outside shots today, kinda shows more gloss on the paint that it's not seen in the inside pictures! 21. This is awesome Antonio, love that red decal, kind of gives it more contrast when looking at the whole body of the car!!!
  22. Harry, let me be brutally honest, didn't know you looked that good!! I mean, the plaid shirt and glasses, WOW!!!!
  23. Don't worry about me guys, I really like to hear these opinions and wish I had the same eye for such details as you guys do. Seems to me that you are correct on everything you say, can't argue with facts right? Didn't think it had so many issues. I did enjoy building it and I hope this doesn't keep other people from buying it and enjoying it also. Thanks a lot for the information provided, you really took some time to provide us with valuable information and that's always good, I just hope that the makers of the kit would listen and stop issuing kits with such flaws, believe me, I don't feel bad, I feel good that you guys are replying positively to my work....
  24. Harry, I love how "brutally honest" you can be sometimes!!!
