  1. Very cool Mike!!!!
  2. Bro, you totally misunderstood what I said but you know what? I sent you a PM, I don't want to make this a big deal when in reality it isn't, I respect everyone here and would never think of belittling or insulting anyone, my apologies if I do......
  3. That's a good one Jeff but I didn't use the small tires in the kit's box for my Olds, I went with some from my spare parts box!!! Now it's my turn to criticize you, you should study the work in progress of my builds, I think you are getting too lazy to read!!!
  4. I used Odds and Ends clear for this one, WalMart used to carry them but currently don't anymore. It's similar to Plastikote clear though.

    Very cool!!!!
  6. Paintjob is flawless, looks great bro!!!!
  7. That's really cool my friend, very creative! Lots of colors all around your subject but everything flows perfectly!!!
  8. Well, I will say it again, it is a beautiful build and the tires are just ridiculous, that is not bashing, it's saying what I think and what I personally don't like. With that said, PLEASE! PLEASE! comment negatively on my builds when I finish one and decide to post it here! You know what that is going to accomplish? A much better build from me the next time. You guys have to understand that it's in our nature to comment either negatively or positively to everything posted here. It's up to the "mature" individual to react to the comments. I absolutely love what he did with the paint and cleanliness of the build and wish I could do something that nice with a kit like that. I commend him for the job but also for understanding what a lot of us were trying to say......
  9. I don't understand your question. What Hobby stores are you visiting? All of them sell Metal Flake type paints, as a matter of fact, you will see more Metal Flake type paints than any other paints on their racks. If you want something heavy, try using the Testor's One Coat Lacquers, I personally don't like them but they will probably work for you. Michael's Craft Stores just brought a bunch of them in, I believe they have about 7 different colors to choose from. This is a Charger I am building for a friend of mine, you can see the Testor's paint I am using and the results after adding some clear also. This is one of the colors from Michael's that I purchased. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  10. Not to criticize you or your work my friend but, I feel really sad seeing such a beautiful model being "raped" and "insulted" in this manner. You need to apologize to all of us in the forum for the next, ummmmmm? 100 years???
  11. Welcome Leilani, my little buddy on the left also says welcome!!!!!!
  12. Very cool Ron, as always, I will be following this project!!
  13. I went to Home Depot and bought an 8 inch diameter inductor fan for about $30.00, these are used to push heat to the furthest rooms away from the main heat source in big houses. Hosted on Fotki I made a 3ft by 2ft box with some wood panels I had laying around, opened a hole on the top and installed the flexible ducts to the outside of the house. It has been working for me for the last 5 years without any kind of issues. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

  19. By the way, have you ever heard of the Traditional Rod and Custom Board? They are going to love you there, below is the link, register and read the rules, it's a great forum for these types of builds and the guys are great!!!!! http://trakinscale.proboards.com/index.cgi?
  20. Brother, we are going to love you here, you do amazing and beautiful work, very cleanly done too!!!
  21. I love the simplicity of it and there is always something cool when these kind of cars are painted in green, perfect color choice!! I might just have to pick one up from Modelhaus and yes, it will not be the same shade of green but, it will most certainly be green!!!
