Love the stance! You just can't shove those wheels into the fenderwells far enough! The two-tone makes the car look even longer than it is! Thanks for sharing.

I wish the big three still made people movers as beautiful as that! Very nice conversion! Inspirational.

Very nice clean build! The holey, Green metallic frame is a really nice touch. The fuel system is very nice and clean.

Attention! Attention! I declare this car to be really nice! Love it! It has a great look. A great example of Suspended disbelief.

I just saw Norm Grabowski in a movie!

All that and a great wood worker, too! Thanks for the link. It was great to see all his contribution to Hollywood. -
My current daily: I hillclimbed and autocrossed this one: This was my last hillclimber: I painted this one - but it wasn't mine: My old BMX racing cruiser - SE Floval Flyer: I also had a nice '92 VW Jetta and a sweet '86 Scirocco - but I can't find pics of them.

Years ago I purchased a similar set at a swap meet. The tires were great but one of the metal rims was flat-spotted at the outside rim. I still haven't figured out what to do with them - it's been over 15 years! If yours are round - Great. Noting gives the look of metal - but metal!

What is the best clear for Tamiya Acrylics?
seeker589 replied to seeker589's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
The only reason I don't like acrylic clear is it can be washed away with water. Could this happen after the clear cures? Is it color-fast? What is the cure time with either Tamiya color or clear? How does it take masking tape? Is pull-away a problem? I painted a car (without clear). Great coverage properties and very little build-up. I decaled it and the setting solution seemed to dull or change the hue somewhat. Will this happen after I would use Tamiya clear before decaling or will the setting solution mess with the clear, too?? -
OK - I took a kit like this: Stuck it in my scanner upside down and came out with this: Perfect size for desk top back grounds! Or - if you don't wanna take a pic for an on-line auction or message board post - just scan the kit box and VOILA! Perfect full-size pic after a quick edit (cropping)! You too, Could have your FAVORITE kit on YOUR desktop!

As the subject says I'm looking for the best clear for Tamiya Acrylic paints. Has anyone ever used thinned testors clear? With what results? Thanks for any help.

Great Honda! Now the question is - Do you have one like it in GT5?

I don't know much about the collectability of coachbuilt convertibles but I know what I like. And I always liked these: -
Bizzare Race Car thread
seeker589 replied to seeker589's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
This thread proves - There are race classes for EVERYTHING!!!! That and innovation NEVER sleeps - even if it is ugly! Another pic of the Autocross T with different fenders: A pic of the motor(I'm previously told you it was a 4AG - I'm not so sure it is): Nothing beats a Ford Granada IMSA Kelly American Series race car! A pic of the crazy VW bus: A photochopper's vision of a Citroen 2CV Gasser: -

I'm not sure I know what a B-Van is. I know nothing about the Caravan except that it is lowered and looks cool. The Chop-top fullsize is a photochop pic I got somethere on the net and saved it 'cause I thought it was cool. If I like pics - I save 'em and put them on my Photoshop account. My Photobucket account Enjoy! -
Assemble the minions!!!
seeker589 replied to Darin Bastedo's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Or you could use them as a signature on all of your models. Everyone could identify your models by each one having a Minion in it or on it. For example - I paint all my Rear End covers (pumpkins) green on all my models. -

Bizzare Race Car thread
seeker589 replied to seeker589's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Please! Let us stay on subject - we can have fun and not blast anyone - objectify anyone - or bring out the sensor police. Now BACK to the strange race cars! The above picture is a model T Ford autocrossing in a class normally flooded with Lotuses (Lotii?). The main rails of the frame are actually from a 1926 model T. eveything else is fabricated - the body is fiberglass and aluminum panels and the motor is a 4AG out of a Toyota Corolla - Reworked it pushes out around 200hp. It was offered to a friend of mine for $1500 minus motor, trans, wheels, and shocks for $1500! neither he nor I could find a place to keep it and had to pass! -

Yea, that's a wing! i wonder how it would survive wheel-to-wheel racing? it would be a great way to claim track position - and KEEP it!
