  1. if its a possibility someone is hurt I will stop to see if I can offer any help but I have passed people walking, etc. before...feel bad about doing it but one never knows these days. I have some medical experience plus my wife is a nurse...but I never take my eyes off them just in case. All countries have good and bad people...its just something we all have to deal with.
  2. Id love to see that kit make a comeback....built it as a kid would love another chance at one...and others.
  3. Very nice work...! Look realistic to me I have seen a few tangle with trains before and loose...its not always easy to make plastic look like bent and torn metal.
  4. I bet it handled real well....
  5. I got to see this one too sometime....and build a few from all the movies but the first one I want to build is the first black interceptor....
  6. Dan...the old fire truck is from the 70s for sure and a pretty cool kit but will take you awhile to build it has a ton of parts good opportunities to add detail.
  7. man does that Tuff Truck Ford bring back memories for me....loved that kit too bad they never re-issued it.
  8. NICE haul...! I have a 67 Ambassador that needs loads of stuff to restore it...some things considered ugly are just too cool.
  9. !/25th for the most part but do build 1/24rths too....love to build some very large scale ones. Mainly its 1/25th because they all fit together size wise and look good together when done plus extra parts can be used in the future.
  10. How about starting off with a normal car wax...its the weakest of any polish...might just do the trick without much risk?
  11. Dave.... That is NICE...
  12. Sorry to hear about your dog Joe...its never easy to loose them...real pet people there just like our kids and a member of the family to us not just a pet.
  13. YES we do Charlie....besides it would be a great boost in the sales instead of the same old re-issues that have been done time and time again.
  14. That is nice Steve..! I have the old 4door version model...love it and its styling of the body.
  15. Love to have even a used one...cant afford them...bummer. I built a 355ci Chevy with a 671 and old Hillborn plate injection once...have photo if someone can post it for me.
  16. NICE...! been after the Skylark one to build a family replica for years.
  17. Welcome Harry... ...been building anything I can get my hands on for over 40 years here but auto related ones are my favorites. I also restore promos. I still paint my trim never had any luck with the foil myself...maybe someday Ill try it again? You being a aircraft builder you possess a skill I need to learn more about...weathering.
  18. Blowers/Superchargers make power from compressing air or air and fuel into the cylinders which gives it a larger fuel/air charge to fire on and actually to a point pushes the pistons where a normally aspirated engine has to draw the fuel/air into it which is drag. In other words the blower is kind of a compressor to a point but the boost or pressure is much less in most cases...a healthy stock engine can handle around 7 pounds of boost if its compression of the engine is not too high to start with. 7 pounds of boost may not sound like a lot but it adds loads of horsepower. I wish I could find one that is like a Paxton for our truck that mounts like a alternator.
  19. I have one of those...my chrome trees were platted very badly and warped...bummer.
  20. Welcome Scott... ...Me I am a big fan of the 60s to mid 70s cars, etc. too.
  21. Cool project. I have the snow plow kit by Revell shame it is missing the wheels and tires...bummer I am wanting to build it.
  22. NICE...! I like the Monaco and 68 Chrysler 300....sweet finds. I have been after the 66 Chrysler 300 for years my dad once owned one think there beautiful cars.
