  3. Very cool..! I have tried to get my hands on one of those but never could make it happen. I too like the old metal axle and screw chassis kits...there my favorites.
  4. Id be happy to see all/any of the kit companies do this...its just good for business and the people that buy them...

  8. Id love to have a 70 Superbird in restoreable condition...Always thought they were cool cars would not matter to me if it had an engine or not. The dealerships found back then most of the public thought they were ugly....I never did but do think the 70 looks better than the 69s did.
  9. Looks nice Chuck.... I have one of those trucks but want to make it the older version with the round headlamps and painted grille area.

I learned a lot about what parts were what on real cars from them as a kid back in the day....learned more and started to work on the 1 to 1s at 13 or 14 years old created a life long passion for automobiles and scale ones for me. I really dig the old instructions and boxes....brings back great memories for me.

  14. Walter....I appreciate the information but for me its a funds issue...I live on a very very small income have a hard time holding on to enough funds to buy a store kit when I can. Still I think it would be a blast to build...always liked the movie and cars in it.

  20. Very cool Dave... ...I like them all. Id love to do a diorama with the first movie cars as a opening car chase...the bad guys stolen police car looks like it could be made from a 60s Mustang.
