  1. Jim... Hope all goes well for you and recovery is an easy one for you...thoughts and prayers are with you.
  2. Hey guys what about the old AMT 70s Chevy camper van(open road)raised top camper van kit? Now Id love to see that one reissued...need parts to the one I have now. It has a nice interior with it too.
  3. I like the ugly trucks....most of my builds have very little chrome think the old utilitarian work horse look is COOL!
  4. Yes they are but the interiors will swap and fit fairly good with minor work. The 64,65s are my favorites nice to see someone casting them Jeff. I can appreciate the differences in them too.
  5. Id like any of the following.... 64,67,68,69,70 Bonneville HTs 66 to 70 Cadillacs 60s Hearses 65 to 70 Chryslers by Johan. Camper kits other than the Elcamino or VW van resin conversion kits (to make wagons form) the 64,65,70 Bonnevilles--64,65 Falcon or Comets--66 Skylark--65,66,67,70 Impalas. 71 to 77 Dodge vans and parts to repair my dads old models.
  6. I had one years ago would love to have another but cant afford that....anyone want to trade me one??? Let me know about it and what your looking for . Mark
  7. I think it would be a blast! Straight line speeds are not near as hard as others courses...but then again I use to drag race years ago
  8. I think the best advise I ever got was to take you time planing and building....its never done me wrong.
  9. I built a factory stock one using parts from the 69 Barracuda kit...they fit quite well too.
  10. I have been building for a very long time...never done that myself. If something gets to me I just go and do something else or take a break and sit back to wait for the answer to come to me for the problem. I have a few I just put back into the box to take a brake from it for awhile....works for me anyways.
  11. My first car does not exist anymore it got scraped I am sure...72 Olds Tornado.
  12. Very cool and nice work! I build automotive models but would built the farm tractors if they would ever reissue them...specially the Massey or International ones.
  13. Beautiful work...very nice!
  14. Matthew....great to see your going to build you friends kits for him. To me things like that are priceless and one of the reasons I am trying so hard to repair my dads old collection.
  15. Hey....Happy birthday Nick!
  16. Yes there was someone was making...I never could find any myself so Ill have to do it all on my own...hopefully. I like any Falcons US or Aussie ones shame they aren't easy to get and in plastic so there more affordable for us low income guys. I have around 7 of the US ones from my dads old collection I am trying to restore but the parts are very hard to find for them 1960 to 69 year body styles. Be nice to be able to build a diorama from the first Mad Max movie with the cars...one appears to be based on a mid 60s Mustang? But how could anyone not love the Black interceptor....Id drive it!
  17. I like it .
  18. Very cool Chuck!... I have a few that were my dads--one I am having problems with in the restoration. Its a 58 Fairlane HT and has the metal chassis but the wheelbase is off a bunch its stamped 58 Ford to boot?
  19. Hey Chuck...is that a 68 or 69?....ether way it is SWEET!
  20. COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just drooled on myself...see a few wagons in there
  21. AMT did have the 61 Buick wagon...its closet was the 62 Olds wagon by Johan.
