Welcome back Brian!..... I still haven't figured out the posting photo thing but I am a computer dummy anyways. Family and life things get in the way sometimes...hope they all worked out ok for you.
Its 100 here and forecasts to be that way till at least Friday night here....humidity is close to the temps and dry as a bone. Ill take it over the 28 inches of snow we had last winter and 0 temps anytime.
Nice kit! I have one of those from my dads collection...first to find the hood and frt.fender turn signals and wheel covers. I have always like this body style too...they just look like a mean machine .
I have built since I was about 7 years old my dad got me into them been hooked ever since. Now that I have way too much time to pass its relaxing and kind of an escape for me one might say? I build mine to make me happy and pass the time, relax.
Wonder why the kit manufactures have not yet seen it to bring back some of those old retro 70s custom vans...Dodge,Ford,Chevy? My vote would be for the Truckin U.S.A, MPC Dodge van kit has nice interior.
Great to hear Johnny's wife and that little baby is doing ok....you both have our prayers. I developed a heart condition called(Tachycardia)from the chest injuries I had. I've been in that touchy situation myself and feel for you all. God bless.
I get challenged by builds at times too...the best thing I've found to do is take a little break and look over the problem for an idea or solution for it. In time it will come to you.
Great to see those old Johans....always loved there cars. I have a few of my dads planing to restore soon as I find the parts for them, shame there not around anymore.
