  1. I needed something better for my '68 Charger side markers than the kit decals so I came up with this little quick and easy tutorial. First, you'll need 4 common pins like the type used in new shirts or from a sewing kit. Using a pin vise and a drill bit the size of the pin shaft, drill a hole into the fender. If the bottom of the pin head is not flat, you may need to countersink the hole for a flush fit. I choose to cut the pin shaft about 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch below the pin head. You can wait and insert the entire pin into the fender and cut off the shaft afterwards. Apply a little bit of your favorite adhesive inside the fender before inserting the pin. Insert the pin and allow the adhesive to set. Apply a drop of clear red or clear amber paint to the pin head and you are done!
