Phil, this seems to be an excellent kit. Get it before it disappears! I pulled the body out of the baggie it was in to inspect it for mold lines and flash and surprise! There are none! Now on to a bath! The instructions say to leave the chassis white and I thought it would have been grey like the body color. I started to think about taking a "body-in-white" and Multimatic Racing in Canada building the cars with roll cages and such and then painting the bodies. I suppose the chassis would have remained white while they painted the body grey with the usual overspray. More Mustang to come...

My latest project is Tamiya's Ford Mustang GT4 race car. Since I am a fan of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, this car will be painted with Tamiya TS-4 German Grey with a Tamiya TS-13 Gloss Clear top coat and a white roll cage with a black racing seat to represent the car shown there in 2017. I haven't built a race car in a very long time. Let's see what I can do with this kit! More Mustang to come...

This is my version of the '62 Chevy Fleetside Pickup from HGTV's "Home Town painted with Tamiya TS-10 French Blue with a silver and grey interior. I used the AMT '60 Chevy Pickup for this version.

This is my '32 Ford Phaeton Street Rod painted with Model Master Mystic Emerald and built box stock with a few changes made by me.

The windshield frame, steering wheel and the horn have been painted with Alclad II Chrome paint. I painted the air cleaner top with Model Master Emerald Green Lacquer. Final assembly has been started by attaching the body to the chassis. More Phaeton to come...

I got the turn signals painted and installed and I think I'll add a black wash to them. I tried to letter the tailgate, but the pen might have been a little too big. I'll try using a fine tip brush and some flat white paint. The Step-N-Tow bumper has been painted and will be installed when dry. More Fleetside to come...

I got my parts cleaned up and mounted to be sprayed with Alclad II Gloss Black Base and Alclad II Chrome. The dash has been inserted into the body and interior and the chassis is mostly completed, just needs the radiator hose. More Phaeton to come...

Thank you for the suggestion, Alan! I am allowed to make modifications to correct any errors on the model. I will have to look at the windshield frame and maybe modify it if I can.

I got the '32 up on four wheels and did a mockup with the body. It is looking good with the lowered front suspension, but I wished I could have lowered it some more. So far, the rake is good. The interior and the engine has been painted. The engine was painted a second time using some Humbrol Dragoon Green and I will clearcoat it with some Semi Gloss Clear later. The steering wheel and the windshield frame will be painted with Alclad II Gloss Black Base and then with Alclad II Chrome followed by Alclad II Kleer Kote. More Phaeton to come...

Parked next to '49/'51 Ford at the supermarket. All black and in very good condition, too!

Thanks Alan, John and Carl! I am aware of the shortfalls of this kit and Iwould love to chnage them, but the rules of the Club Challenge for my Club restricts me to "out-of-box". I just have to come up with something within the rules.
