  1. Hey I have to say it's looking good. I don't know how you can do that much foil so fast. My hands get tired to fast and my mind wanders and I want to do other things cause I feel like I'm driving across Texas. The feeling like I'm getting no where fast I'll be honest with you at first I was a little mad someone else started one when mine was on the bench then I saw it was you that gave the links for the pictures. Then I realised the builds are cool like you said to compare and such. I just wish I could build that fast How did you do the raised white letters.?
  2. ^^^^^ Your alright Agent
  3. I know there have been way more horrible crashes than this one in the past. I've been watching since 1982. I remember this Mikey crash ( thanks for the pictures as I didn't know the remainder was still around) Darrell Waltrip and Rusty had bad ones, Petty, Newman, Rudd, Dale SR, Tony, and more. This one was bad due to where it hit. If you look at the photo of the fences there is a very odd indentation before the andle of the fence changes. The front end went in there. It was an incredible fit like a puzzle piece. I do not take the credit away from Nascar's saftey in the past. Lets not forget thinking about Dale Sr. He had a couple bad ones on plate tracks. The one that killed him actually had a failure in the Simpson Harness. Hanns device may not have helped him. He still would have impaled the steering wheel. So in your discussion please know that I do not credit or discredt and crash. I'm just glad he is ok. I'm a fan. I think that he is by far not a great driver but a great personality so I am glad he is ok.
  4. Welcome to the club John. Hey Tom thanks for that auto color link
  5. Thanks guys and Kevin thanks for the reminder. I have not glued the light bars and direction bars at all. I have to do all the detail paint on the roof rack. The lights are just sitting there and not glued together or to the rack. As well as the Directionals are sitting. That way I can take them all off and finish the bmf and then decals and then Future. Thanks guys
  6. Mark I completely agree. I hate the splitter and look of the car but this crash, Jeff Gordons crash with Matt Kenseth ( I can't remember the track ) with the Nicorette car was scary even if your not a Jeff fan, The crash with Carl Edwards and then Brad K. The car has proven itself this year more than any other.
  7. I apologize in advance for pic quality. This was taken from my phone off the t.v. He hit 2 different angles of fencing at once. The Engine actually came out of the car and he crawled out and layed on the ground. He has been released from the care center. Along with this was a very crazy ride with Kurt Busch as well. Jimmie Johnson wrecker Kurt causing him to hit the outside, then inside wall on the driver door. Kurt broke a tire off as well. Jimmie is fine and running. Sadler was an innocent victim but is ok. No picture of the 19 in the fence but a picture where he hit.

  9. I do not condone the crime but this guy kinda deserves it. Its the LA area and like Harry said. Why park it there in an alley behind a strip mall? Why not the car show? Leave the top down to boot? Like I said it stinks what happened but this guy did Everything wrong as a car owner.
  10. The engine and wheels look great. I would recommend using painters tape at least to divide your colors when you paint so you do not have the red on the silver. I had some paint bleed on my Ecto but was able to use thinner on a Q-tip to lightly rub it away. Good luck.
  11. That thing is looking Great! The ramp part is really looking nice with those lights and the chains.
  12. Thats a great looking trailer and the truck is not to bad either
  13. Thats a cool looking Caddy. I've always wanted one of those myself even the 1:1 Can you guys explain "crazing" ?
  14. Hey there. Your going to re-load your pictures. If you moved them into a different file on Photobucket you end up loosing the picture. None are working. I had this happen then I made a file thats permanent and re-loaded them.
  15. Your more than likely better off with Ebay. Be cautious not to jump on something right away. If you are patient you can get great deals when others are not paying attention.
  16. Hey bud yeah it's a USPS LLV ( Long Life Vehicle) Thats what my postman said they are colled. It's made by Jada. I'd love to make a 1:24 one some day lol. Also the Instruction holder is a small art easil from a kids water paint set. It had the easil, a thick cardboard backing, (throw away the numbered picture to paint) and whalla for like $4 It just sits on top of a wicker shelf holding my misc instructions and decals.
  17. Well since this thread gets brought up and a lot of people seem to want work bench stuff I think I will help this one get going again. here is my bench on sat 7/31/2010. I have a Hot Wheel Chevelle wagon and Ecto1A as the main projects. I spent most of today ( model time wise ) on more bmf on the Caddy. Also I spend EVERY saturday morning re-organising and cleaning up my bench before I do any work on a car.
  18. Maybe I should put that in Sub-Urban and that little camaro couldn't touch me Hey Dan in the future I'd like to make a AZ Highway Patrol Fox Mustang. When the time comes I might be in touch
  19. Here is all the built ones I have. Seems very little
  20. Welcome Tom and I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do
  21. NIce conversion. I love the 572 and the flames.
  22. I wouldn't want to see that in my rear view mirror. Nice work Dan.
  23. Nice way to show support with a neat model. I've lost a few family members to different types of cancer. It runs strong in my family it seems. My wife is also an ovarian survivor twice now. Thanks for showing a cool way of support.
  24. Here is my list of cars I find at car shows and around town. Ones on the road are a cell phone so quality can't be adjusted. Just some eye candy for some and I will update as I find stuff. Maybe it will spark interest for models. Enjoy.
