  1. Welcome Toni!!! Great job on the Chevelle, show us more!
  2. Here's a helpful link for scratching leaf springs from a great offroad builder. If you don't want the springs to move, just glue 'em: http://public.fotki.com/modeljeeper/models/working_leaf_suspension/ You can also visit our specific site below in my signature for these types of builds...mild to WILD!!!
  3. Thanks for the info Manny! I sent a message to them, inquiring about the '59 sedan delivery to see if any "junkers" are available
  4. Very cool '59 Manny! Got a linky for the WCPD sale? I couldn't find any on the net on sale...
  5. I'll be the first to admit that Foose has LOTS of talent (even though his style gets a bit boring after awhile), but his motto is something to the effect "I take the ugly out" This was a monumental task with a car like they started with for Sniper
  6. Wow, Foose must have been going thru a bad phase when he designed that
  7. It's more than likely based on the AMT '58 Belvedere or '57 300, those would probably be good choices? I've got the '58 here if you'd like wheelbase and/or width measurements. Also have the AMT 'slammers' 57/58 kit here that it could be based off of...
  8. For all of you here that do not want to work with your kits any longer due to health concerns, send 'em my way, I'm a risk taker
  9. Welcome Maarten!!! Great diecast rebuilds you're doing, very realistic!
  10. Most excellent work Ryan!
  11. Welcome back Ryan! Good stuff going on here, looking forward to seeing your work in person in Sylvania in the fall
  12. Right there with ya Jim... In 2000 during the USGP weekend at Indy, my wife & I just about ran over the legendary Phil Hill (1st American F1 world champion for those that don't know) and his wifey in a crowded eatery. I too wasn't going to interupt them, but now that the legend is gone, I sure wish I'd been rude for a moment and asked for an autograph But back on topic, love the work Eddie does for hard rock/metal, just wish I got VH1 classic...
  13. Wow! I'd like to see that on the street!
  14. SWEEET!
  15. Nicely done!!!
  16. Very cool Jim!!! Luv those Corvairs!
  17. Mark, do you mean '95??? Berettas were only produced from 1987-1996, I've owned two, with one still in the garage...
  18. Yes Bart, the 'Night Stalker' is molded in black...I still have mine here from my younger days...
  19. Old Monogram '57 Vette has the 'daisies' also...
  20. For larger diameter needs, I like to use styrene tubing instead of rod, with solid copper wire inserted prior to any bending. You can bend to any shape you want with no heat required, and no "springback".
  21. Sounds like my kinda movie, the previews look cool ----EXCEPT for the fact that the star is someone I just can't stomach
  22. Very cool Wayne! I like the battle scars I think the ORM crowd could appreciate this one!
  23. George, are you using an up to date browser version? I have problems with this site when viewing at work (maybe it's a sign that I shouldn't be looking at work ,huh?) I think because corporate uses an older Explorer version, works great at home...
