  1. ANY room in the house, as long as it's wife & children-free
  2. Here's a few not-quite-stock resin bodies to use as a starting point: http://www.bigdonkey...eb_site_006.htm
  3. Not much left to say that hasn't already been said, but INCREDIBLE!!!
  4. I agree with Art 100% here, but... The MPC/AMT GM pickups probably won't be reissued again (but you never know) so the reissued R/M GMC pickup will be the recipient of this longbed. With massaging (mostly the overly thick lip on the wheel opening) along with the stretch, I think this aftermarket 8' bed will be a WINNER!!!
  5. Nicely done Chuck! That's something you don't see everyday
  6. SUPER SHARP Rich!!! Awesome details and a very cool color combo You're on a roll!
  7. Skip, is this gray the right shade? This is Duplicolor hot rod gray primer. Goes on smooth and can be buffed slightly (as my Olds has) or sprayed over a texture paint for a different effect.
  8. WELCOME Eric!!! Great job on the Gremlin, looking forward to more of your builds!
  9. WOW Rich!!! She's a BEAUTY!!! Hope you'll be bringing it to Castle shannon...
  10. Hey Rich, Donn didn't post that, I did. My bad, it is the last day of September! Thanks! http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=62039 Sorry for the mini-hijack Virgil, but the offer stands if you get up here to the 'Burg sometime
  11. I LOVE the 50s Willys pickups, wagons, and panels:
  12. Great build Scott!!!
  13. Well then get up here to the 'Burg in October for the Castle Shannon show Virgil, I'm buyin' Great work on your '40, it's almost done now!
  14. Cool Christian! I hope you have a nasty street machine version planned for one!
  15. Very cool Manny! I like the missing fender on the ol' Stude
  16. Very cool Ray, nice work!!!
  17. Johann, if that's your first car model, you are on your way to many great builds! Nicely done!!! Love your post #1 analysis too
  18. Wow Andy, that yellow REALLY POPS!!! What brand & shade is it??? I personally like pic number three (with no whitewalls showing) but they are all cool... I think a polished aluminum scoop would be the cat's meow on your build!
  19. Another GOOD one from the creative mind of Bill!
  20. Very cool Johnny!!! Just like a 1:1 would have been built back in the day...from scrounged parts!
  21. Great stuff going on here Chris!!! I'm working on my 1:1 J-20 as we speak. I can relate to the proportion issues this kit has, that's probably why I'm not further along with my replica
