  1. I found a ships anchor in 1 of my spares box gonna add it to the trailer somehwere...
  2. Gator, thank you I am getting better but this sickness really dump me on my butt. some serious flu this year...
  3. Also wanted to cover up the join line on the underside of the roof and putty would have been really hard to sand smooth so cut a piece of styrene to cover the join line.
  4. Been out of it for several days was in bed with the flu for the last three days, finally feeling good enough to do some work on the trike, I always have to be ocd with chrome and parting lines I hate having good chrome but then you see the press parting lines, sinks and dips in chrome and ejector pin marks so what I do is strip the chrome then go to work on cleaning up the plastic, after that it gets a good coat of alclad chrome. so far on the exhaust pipes, and drilled out the ends of the tubes....
  5. Craig, on the samples or spoons that I have tried the sharpie on I gave it about 30 mins to dry then just shot the color over it with no running at all. I use the superfine sharpie thou to have a much smaller tip. I have not done a total paint job yet using the sharpie hopefully on this one.
  6. If you have a hastings or barnes and noble in your area I have seen them at both outlets....
  7. I think the best thing is to strive for 65% and be happy, if it was 1/2 scale probably could get closer, but that would take all the fun out of the hobby just have fun...
  8. Thanks guys, I get this block every once and a while and some family stuff has come up that does not help either.... hope to get some more done, almost done thou with body work on the main body of trike, another round of putty and primer hope to have more soon....

Gator, I can conceptualize it pretty good with that description, I have however seem to have come up with a block right now, can not seem to have any ideas on which way to go with the project as I had hoped I would have,. been spending the afternoon doing a lot of web searching ideas for trailers, something will come to me shortly thou. Filled in the tiny little window of the main body so far....first mod of it so far....
  10. Getting to work on the body of the chopper trike, will help layout the trailer, may not be able to use the yellow one its pretty narrow but will see....

  13. I like the shape of this for a trailer has a suirf board shape will just have to make sure its wide enough for the trike.
  14. havent had a lot of time this week due to work, did take some time to trim down the aluma coupe for the base of a trailer.
  15. a couple ideas for the trailer for the trike, the yellow one is the body of the aluma coupe was thinking of taking off the sides to use the base as a trailer but will see.....
  16. Gator, thank you again, I was wanting to try the ghost images/patterns on my aztec warrior but due to the root beer brown I used was too dark to use it, would like to utilize on this build but will see....
  17. I just received a very generous gift from gatorincebu for this build, He sent me the TIki Trike and I have to say it was very generous for him to do that. Thank you so very much Gator!!! So very much appreciated!!! Now I have some really cool Ideas in order to use this trike and the decals with the Freaky Tiki build. Been working on plans for a trailer to haul this bad boy around and how to incorporate the design elements from the truck to the trike.
  18. I have been wanting to try this for a while now using a micro fine sharpie to put a ghost image under the paint, I was going to go with a weathered look but not sure now that I got another kit for this build.
  19. I was searching the net for Ideas and came across this build, wow love the theme and the wood look fenders....It is on the coffincorner website done by Tim Nolan, love all the ideas this one came out awesome....
  20. Awesome, flawless paint. thank you for passing on how you did the paint and not using primer. I is totally flawless and mirror flat love the build by the way.
  21. Removed the vents and Ford logo to smooth out the side panels...

This is just an idea for tail lights, i played with them as headlights but not working out may use them for tail lights and for tail lights for an up and coming trailer and trike that will be added to this build. More info when it gets here and where it came from, but at this point just toying with the idea.
  23. So it begins probably 150 pieces of toothpicks to be cut and drilled to line bed.!!!
