I had to take a step back and rethink this as a double decker trailer was getting out of hand, just an update where I am now, getting a good start on the interior panels and in side the cab......going to scrap the double decker trailer idea but have two trailers instead, can show it with either trailer.

Hello gentlemen, i have done a search on line and looked over Tims website and I am having problems finding good reference pics of the airbrakes and any other sites that would show all the wiring/plumbing for this truck and trucks in general. Am I missing something or is there a better site for semi truck reference?

Continous work always comes out to two years, however that said, I have several projects close to 15 years now, not continous work, I always over think all my builds and they get so complicated that I have to take weeks off to get inspiration to get back into the build to continue them........ its all good thou and all fun.

Thanks guys my thoughts are open on this build whatever way i go i just want to see it finished! My first vision was to build it as a well used rig with weathering which will be new to me ad well. thinking red frame/wheels with a black or off yellow cab or vice versa then weathered. But will see how it goes.

At the rate I build which can be up to two years on a theme build its not much of an issue when you look at the hours per dollar, however that dang collecting bug hits every once and a while and its off to the stores to buy buy buy thats when its an issue however. -
Thanks Jake, Did a mock up of what the trailer may look like. I know it would be very heavy if 1 to 1 and hard to get the car on the top layer but I went from just having the truck and trailer with all the loot to adding the 32 so needed a car trailer then when the car is on the trailer there is no room for all of the loot that I have collected, that is why I added the top layer. Will have to give it more thought I may just go back to my original idea of the trailer of loot and forget the car not sure at this point. any suggestions or ideas at this point would be appreciated.

Hello all, been wanting to get into semi truck modeling and picked the AMT California Hauler re-issued kit and want to do a pretty good detailed build with most all wires and hoses and wondering if there is good site that has pics of this particular Pete showing engine pics and frame pics?, I have searched google and anything that comes up is the later model peterbilts, does anyone know what year peterbilt they model it of? That may help me with the google searches.
