  1. Mark, I have seen modelers take clear sprue and cut it up to look like ice for coolers and what not, not gonna work on the Ice "T" but maybe something along the lines of using clear sheets of plastic to make the ice cube then half melt it with either liquid cement or something like that.
  2. Thank you guys, another thing that I am deleting is the fake roll up curtains that they molded in over the fruit basket. No matter how well you paint it it just looks fake, getting some basic work done to get the engine halves together and sanding on the frame to smooth that out, that's where I am right now. Pics coming soon as soon as I have something substantial to post.
  3. Starting a new project with three large builds already being worked on this is crazy, but have been wanting to do this fruitwagen since the reissue of it, the fruit basket is kinda weak because your supposed to paint the plastic to look like fruit, where I am going different on it is i am cutting out the sides and will be adding sections, or baskets with little fruit in it.
  4. wow just wow, I am totally blown away by the work on this truck you are truly an artist just beautiful.
  5. Not car related but went to goodwill yesterday the first time in a year and came across this, will have to go there more often. $2.25
  6. Thank you Gator, I am at the point where I want to get this one done, to get some real progress on it hope more soon.
  7. Thanks Marc, my wife does not even want me to finish this build let alone some real time reference building, but that being said I am gonna finish it I have to much time into it and materials, probably after I finish the egyptian raider but will try to get a few hours in on this every week!
  8. just a quick update, found my tattoo decals and thought that I would add some to the ladies of the stage...just a quick shot of dull coat to flatten out the shine and they are good to go... hopefully more to come soon, I really want to dive back into this build to get farther with it but the egyptian raider build has taken up all my time, however hope to have more soon...
  9. Thanks guys. quick update: getting the inner fenders put together and see if the interior will pass thru, will try that next time as they were not dry to handle yet. also to cover the hinge tubes on the under side of the hood carved out some foam and if space allows will add this piece to it, if it does clear the top of the engine but will figure that out as It gets closer to being finished.
  10. not much of an update, did a mock up of the '32, still trying to decide the overall layout of the interior of the '32. undecided at this time how to finish out the foam interior....
  11. could have not said it better....
  12. oh agreed me too!!!
  13. this is insane in my opinion, can you imagine if you are an airplane or military modeler? I used to build and still want to german aircraft and tanks but no one says anything about them with the swastikas on them and what not, its called being political correct which not getting political is killing this country its just insane.
  14. thinking about adding anther aquarium to this one between the seats...
  15. here is a better pic of the tail lights I'm planning for the pick up. one real quick idea for the back of the cab...
  16. Brian, this is a another of my themed builds like my Aztec warrior and hell train, this one however is called the Egyptian raider, kinda like a tomb raider that goes around Egypt looting Egyptian tombs. It started out as a simple truck and trailer then I collected more stuff then it went to a truck trailer and 32 , then to what it is now a truck, two trailers, and a 1932 car. I got a little crazy on this one.
  17. Carl, thank you, the truck will be that aztec gold from the testors one coat lacquer, the 32 will be either gloss black or flat black and the trailers black as well. Trying to figure out some sort of graphics to go on the truck and 32 thou.
  18. gonna use this as brake lights at least on the truck I tinted five minutes epoxy with transparent red paint for the brake light lens... did a mock up of the 32 and the first trailer to get a feel for overall look...
