yes its a gel pen from hobby lobby and out of about 8 gel pens that one is the only one that would continue to draw on the surface. Trying to get a steadier hand at it,. decals would probably look better but do not have a great printer right now, plus had envisioned it to look this way and the gold on black is really cool looking. Im surprised there are not a good source for aftermarket decals in an Egyptian theme after all of these years.

those look so real, and love the truck by the way, was it hard to do? just blend the two colors together then roll them out? I would be curious as how you did them.....

thanks Carl, not sure about the spider web may try another type of metal in another shape. got some more work done to this and I am now set on the interior of the truck, the interior of the 32, and the small trailer so that will speed up the process now, so this will be kinda mock up monday. doors done, ready for paint work... back of cab, final layout, just needs paint work.... top of trailer, sarcophagus.... ideas for decorations for the sides........ even more loot.....

Tom, thats a real cool idea will try it for sure thank you for sharing with me, and for the fruit I came across this person on youtube and guess ill have to get some clay now....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnDb2Kwj5Dk She made it look easy but i wonder how much time it took.... no doubt many years to perfect her craft but I am thinking to make the vegetables look good may have to dabble in the clay, I have epoxy scuplt and did some sculpting but will see how it comes out by painting them. This is what they look like.

ok came up with the final design/layout for the second trailer which with have most of the raided loot in it, and will carve out the inside of the top layer of foam that forms the top so the stuff fits better. this piece is actually the stage for my strippers delight build but shows how I plan to route out all of the foam from the lid to have clearance for the raided loot......

Ditto. But I'd love to know where you got it. Thanks guys I was feeling the same way plus it was not going to fill in the area anyway as it was really to short in the corners. Jantrix the spider web photo etch came from this website from Ken Hamilton @ http://wildharemodels.com/ They have some real cool stuff at that site that you can use for all kinds of builds someday I want to get the bomber seat set to try that out looks pretty cool, and Ken is a great guy to deal with at wild hare as well.

Thanks Joe, im kinda new to the hinge thing to , this is my third truck build with hinges, its like every other aspect of the hobby practice makes perfect, I know about staying in the comfort zone not treading water but with open panels can show so much more.... idea I am liking for the 32 with the pieces on the side of the wall and an aquarium. just playing around with an idea, not sure if the spider web will stay or the mummy in this location either.......... a couple of other views with the spider web photo etch.... Liking the idea just not sure it will be a permanent fixture...
