  1. thanks tim. i only hope my builds don't let you down. i will keep pluggin' away at them though. some more chassis work done. got the impact safety "x" in front of the foot box. still needs the diagonal put in. put some uprights in the driver area too. also started on the front end. i'm using aero tubing for the king pin supports. note the 2" stagger in the front wheels. this car will also be a "cable car".
  2. bill, thanks. glad you like it. gene, thank you. tim, you always have me thinking buddy! dan, thank you. chris, glad to help any way i can. looking forward to that "special" build you have planned. dave thanks. got a little more done on the chassis before the winternationals came on the tube.
  3. so,.... with the deep freeze goin' on outside. i had some free time to get back to the T/D build. put together my dragster chassis fixture and start layin' some pipe.

  12. HOLY SMOKES!!.........man, that is nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tim, let's just agree to disagree. i think you're in a league of your own here. you do what i do........only three times smaller!!!!!!! it makes me very happy to have helped some one like you along your way but, make no mistake.............. you have earned your stripes 3 fold. awesome work my friend.......awesome.
  13. started on the bead lock. i prefer to do my beadlocks as a separate set of pieces. much more like a real wheel. the beadlock. beadlock on the wheel. hope you enjoy!
  14. looking good tim!! the bends and joints are spot on. if you don't mind me asking,............what size rod is that?
  15. thanks scott. it's a heavy 9" in 1:1. rear tires are 34.5-17-16's. tim, thanks buddy. badonkadonk it is. denny, thanks, hope i can make it interesting enough to keep you watching. brad, thanks. if i can get the 9 inches out i could get fred flintstone to drive it! heheh.
  16. leonard, thanks buddy.......but, that's not what my wife says about me.....hehe. joe, thanks. fill that jar up....i'm headin' out and i need alot of ones......hehe! jamie, i hope we can keep you attention through out the build. i said in the beginning the rear of this dragster would be narrow.......... now you know HOW narrow! hope you enjoy!
  17. brad, glad you're enjoying this. boat loads of fun! scott, thanks! joe, glad to see you back too! been a while. tim, it's always an open door policy here. next time you're in town, i'll teach you the secret sauce.

  22. thanks, tim! can't wait to get started on the 728 cube motor. i'm pretty pleased with this one. needs to be "tuned up" some more. it will be getting a polished finish as will the real beadlock for the wheel. this one is just for mock up.
  23. tim, no problem. when you see how easy it is..... you'll just sigh. got a present for you too. i'll email you soon. dave, thanks. i'll post the video. it's not fancy but, i can tell you when it's running........it just sounds big. chris, thanks buddy! it's not all that hard. you'll understand.....it's almost all in the planning and believing in the numbers. got those numbers for you. i'll email them to you.
  24. got a little start on the wheels.
  25. tim, i know how small this is.........i just can't get over the amount of accuracy and the quality of the finish you incorporate into your work. your craftsmanship is definitely in a league of it's own!!!!!!!!
