chris, you always impress the heck out of me with your diligence to get it right. awesome effort buddy!!!!!!!!! as a second thought you may want to throw that clutch can and tranny in there, just sleep better at night. hehe. keep up the stellar work!!!! -
chris, thanks buddy!!! that was the effect i was looking for. hehe. james thanks! bill thank you sir! so, those front wheels needed tires. i hate doing tires 'cause it takes soooo much time and it's just a flat out dirty job. when you're done though you can come up with a pair of o.k. tires. i also couldn't help sticking the pieces together to get a better idea of the complete look.

wheels look great joe. polishing them really brings out the luster. question for you. do the rear tires fit without moving the rails in or will they require moving and mini tubs? LOVE the look of the next project!!!! -

the typically is no proportioning valve in a prostock car. there could how ever be a residual check valve in each of the lines from the master cylinder. -

excellent work joe!!!!!!! once you get it ............you get it , huh? turn to a degree on the rotary table and then move to the offset on the "y" axis and cut between the 2 points on the "x" axis. from this point on it's all about how much detail or fancy do you want to be? your wheels almost look like the old motorwheel "fly" style. which i happen to love. again, excellent work!!!!!!! -
henry thanks! mike i'll keep you in mind IF i ever do some 1/16 wheels. hehe. joe thanks! i know, you certainly know what it takes to make these happen!!! dave you're literally on the other side of the world and yet you know me too well........hehe. dirk thanks buddy!!!! dave much appreciated!! leonard thanks but, there is no way i'm giving that baby back!! thank you very much scott!

henry thanks! joe thanks! i like the black too. it also machines very crisply on the edge. joe thank you! o.k. so, here's the finished product. the lettering is a decal that was painstakingly produced by a good friend.

cato, i, for one, am enjoying the build. i've never built a pocher so i have nothing to offer. as far as your veiw count goes. i hope it's not your motivation to build. it's obvious skippy and company are driving the numbers up for you. it's a shame, the build doesn't require the mount everest club's count medeling. you have fantastic modeling skills, great attention to detail and you should let your work speak for itself. again, fantastic work.

thanks john. i can honestly say no, i haven't thought about doing a video. i guess mostly because there are already so many excellent videos out there by people who actually know what they're doing. for me do do one, would seem almost senseless. thanks for the thought though! if you have any specific questions i might be able to help with, please, feel free to ask. thanks henry! i had some time tonight to play with one of the wheels. i think it's turning out pretty good. i'll try to get the other done tomorrow. then i need to add the lettering decals and perform a small milling mark between the words.

thanks henry! thank you dirk!!! the blanks came back from the anodizer yesterday.
-
looks like you're off to a great start henry! i realize you're doing a '68 camaro but, have you decided on any of the drivetrain?

last but certainly not least. my top alcohol dragster (TAD). this car was built specifically for a very old and close friend of mine. it's a 292" wheel base, screw blown brad anderson equipped top alcohol dragster. probably my second favorite motor is the brad anderson billet hemi. it is a staple in the alcohol and pro mod classes. screw blown with a boher c/f hat. this engine is 100% scratchbuilt. brass chassis hand formed aluminum body billet wheels and hand machined tires. 4 feet long w/ the wheelie bar. hopefully something here may inspire you to take a step outside your comfort zone and try something new. it doesn't have to be a big step to make a big difference.
