  4. thanks henry.! chris, i can't wait for the day we get you whittlin' on some aluminum. i have a feeling your going to be a natural!! speaking of whittlin' aluminum. got one of the header flanges machined and test fitted. looks like we can move on to the other side. on the head.
  5. chris, thank you buddy! leonard, thank you sir! we gotta hook up in M.D. this year. scott, thank you and thanks to you. i haven't gotten to that specific detail yet but when i do, i couldn't have done it with out you. during the week i made the spark plug boots. took a bonus shot of the cabs too.
  6. if you google "holley ls tunnel ram" about 3/4 of the way down the page is a partially dimensioned drawing of that manifold with the 2 four barrel top. i'm certain i have seen the f.i. top drawing floating around.
  7. chuck, i'm glad you found the build. after i measured and did a rough drawing of the actual body. i had a 3-d artist i brazil do a 3-d rendering. then a company called tdr turned the rendering into a file that could be 3-d printed. finally a company called shapeways 3-d printed the body. tdr now offers the body for sale. here is my photo bucket. it contains alot of my builds. i hope you find something worthwhile. hehe. http://s243.photobucket.com/user/comp1839/library/?sort=3&page=1

  9. OHhhhh MYyyyyyyy (i says in my best george takei voice) hehe. leonard, i'm stunned. this is completely off the hook!!!!!
  10. got a little more done to the dry sump. i hope the pics are clear enough for you guys trying to learn about plumbing a dry sump system. put the oil filter on. put the dist. cap on too. put the intake on to check clearances. with the intake on i took the opportunity to take some motor shots. it's getting closer all the time!
  11. leonard, the pics open to the next window but, don't enlarge. even still, with the small pics it looks incredible!!!!!!!! scott's shifter certainly looks good in there!!
  12. hey joe. glad to hear from you. the lines are black on the 1:1 car. to be honest, with the cost of braided line. i couldn't see putting it on and then making it black. you'll be hard pressed to see all of this stuff any way. how's it goin' in your neck of the woods?
  13. glad you like it bruce! henry, thanks! thanks bob! fabbed the oil tank and lid. here's a test fit. also got started on the dist. cap and the oil filer.
  14. thanks ray! chris, i can't wait for you to start your super secret project.....hehe. got some more work done. i finished plumbing the pump. also made some god forsaken tiny decal for the pump sections. i was really impressed with the ability of the printer on these. the fact you can read a word that is about .030" tall (maybe less), just amazes me. the decal is about 1/8" wide.
  15. here's few of mine. keep in mind none of the engines came in a kit and are almost entirely scratch built. Donovan 417 737 BBC w/ splits and nitrous screw blown BAE for a T/AD BBC new century block/ sonny's hemi heads/ 2 dominators. WIP
  16. henry, thanks! chris, i'm kinda jumping around right now to keep it a little fresh. i was starting to get the soldered brass blues. needed to change it up a little. thanks buddy! tyrone, i know you do!........me too!!!!!!!! i also love your work!!!!!! stuart, glad you like the build. hopefully it will keep your interest. scott, can't wait for some more of your updates. allen, it's mostly my lack of mental stability......trust me. hehe. if you have any questions...... just yell. dave, always a pleasure. i have a few of those floating around here. that's my newest / biggest.
  17. that is just AWESOME. fantastic job chris!!!!!!!
  18. thanks mike! thanks henry! a little more plumbing.
  19. started making my fittings and lines. i will use fittings from different manufacturers and i will be making some of my own. i started by drilling some .125" brass tubing. using a #32 bit and going to a .125" depth. then i parted them off at .250". the counterbore willl let the rubber tubing fit in the brass while leaving the other end capable of holding the metal tube. home made tubing bender. finished line. this is the pressurized oil feed from the pressure stage of the pump.
  20. did some more work to the pump. made a mounting plate and the final front section to the pump. also painted the front motor plate black. front drive pulley.
  21. allen, if it helps i am about to build and plumb the dry sump system on my 1/8 scale pro mod build. you are certainly welcome to look at the build and ask any questions you might have. here is a dry sump system i did on a previous build. also had a vacuum pump.
