  2. Jack... that fire wall looks great man. Awesome work on it. what size styrene did you use?
  3. Rom... that helmet is sweet man. abother nice piece of work to this model. loving it.
  4. RB Motion has the best A/N Fittings in the business hands down. i have a bunch of his stuff and you cant go wrong with it.
  5. Jack... Great work on the firewall man. You are sure making great progress on it.
  6. Wayne... awesome work man. Looking forward to seeing the engine work. The rework on the body looks good. I know its tuff to have to go back and cut it up after its been painted. Keep up the great work
  7. Rom... what more can I say about this build, it is just down right beautiful. I am super stoked for you that you are just about done with this build. I am also a little sad because I am going to miss seeing progress updates but I am excited to be able to drool over this in person. I am looking forward to seeing what your next Pro Mod or Drag Racing build will be . I did want to ask what did you use to glue the bolts to the windshield?? Great work on this bud. Its a big accomplishment for sure. I wish my Funny Car was close to being done. but I am thinking I should at least have the chassis in primer by the time the Desert Scale Classic gets here... Richard.... It would be awesome if you could make it up but I understand the circumstances. I will be taking lots of pictures at the show and would be more than happy to send you a CD with all the pics if you would like just let me know. I am looking forward to seeing your builds.
  8. Louie.... that '61 Impala will be a great build. Just as a quick glance of the color from your pic it makes me think of either Sunset Pearl or Tangelo from House of Kolor. I know those aren't probably the exact color but they would look close in my opinion.
  9. Bruno... nice and clean. Looking great man!!
  10. Rom.... Hopefully a 1/16th scale Pro Mod... ...... Hint Hint Tyrone... Tyrone.... as always awesome work man!!! Whats the next build gonna be?
  11. Rom.... Oops.... Typo guys. I need to go fix that...lol. Bart.... you know it man. I am itching to jump in the Pro Mod build with all of you. Jim does a Killer job and he is a great guy.
  12. Brad... these goodies... Provided a lot of motivation... lol Last night I finally figured out how I was going to do the rest of my mounting of the puke tank on this. Thanks Scott.... I sure can't wait til you have those 1/16th scale parts. I know you have a lot on your plate at the moment but I will be first in line to buy them when you get them done
  13. This is totally cool and off to a great start. I look forward to seeing more.
  14. Rom... Man oh Man.... what can I say. This is one BAD A$$!!!! Build my friend. I seriously can't wait to see it in person in 3 weeks. I am totally impressed by this build. You have out done yourself.
  15. This is such an Impressive build. That chain is off the hook.... not only one but to all 3.... Looks amazing!! Great job on these.
  16. Jonathan... this is going to be a great build. Hopefully you will bring them to the Desert Scale Classic....even if they aren't finished
  17. This is going to be a sweet build and ride!! I am digging it so far.
  18. I picked up my copy yesterday and what a great issue it is. A lot of great looking cars. I was lucky enough to have two of mine in the magazine from the AZ show. Also wanted to say thanks to Harry because a 3rd one of mine actually made the cover. I felt it was an honor for it to be on the cover, no idea how it made it but it did. Thank you!
  19. Scott... You are right about spending so much time on something and how its hard not to look past something. This is the only build I have been focusing on for the past year. I know once I get this chassis to where I wanted it, which it is really close that the build should pick up and move pretty well I think. Sometimes I wonder if I should start another build but I don't want to in a way since i am so focused on this one. although I can't wait to start working on some of my other planned builds I have been wanting to do. I do have a 1/16th FED that is really close to being done that I may spend some time in the next few weeks to complete it because I really want to have it done for the Desert Scale Classic in about 3 weeks, although it will only be able to be there for show since it got an award with it being under construction last year. guess I should of had it on the under construction table instead... guess that's what I get for not knowing Well I have been meaning to sit at the bench and work on this build but I have been having ideas of how I am going to mount this puke tank and think I may of found some what of a solution that will work. so I am kind of stoked. will try to do a little work here in a few. so no update on this post. but I do have a couple pics to show you what I have gotten in the mail this week..... First I got a nice order from Jim at Micro Nitro.... Pretty much all of these goodies are for my 1/16th scale Pro Mod build I am planning other than the rims in the upper right hand which are for a 1/16th scale Injected FED: Here is an up close pic of the wheels for the Injected FED, Jim actually blew my mind with these. I was really thinking of going with the Ansen's and Jim told me that he had another wheel he was working that was pretty cool. I am glad I went with these because they are pretty sweet rims. Jim was right and he is the man! I also got a few goodies from Dirt Modeler this week too, I couldn't pass up the 1/16th scale stuff :
  20. Ted.... This is a great looking build so far. I will be following it and looking forward to more updates on this. Very Nice detail work so far on this, it is impressive.
  21. Greg.... You are doing some killer work Mate!! I am loving the paint on the rear end. It looks fantastic..... This build just gets better and better... Nice job on the digital racepac too. gonna be another awesome part when done.
  22. Thanks Rom. you are right that we need to sometimes put something down and get back to it.i just want this chassis done lol
  23. Clay.... that seat work is coming along great. Adding that lip and the extra plastic on top brings the seat together and it fits nice. The Tranny Mock up and break handle look great too!
  24. Thanks Greg!! I am sure I will get over this little hump in a day or so... Then I will be trucking along again. I can't wait to get back to the engine details.
  25. Rom... Looking good buddy. This is hard one to say with the chutes. I like what you are doing with the chutes. But I kind of agree with the others about not wanting to cover up that awesome paint job. I know I have had an idea for my funny car with doing some chutes which would be laid out on the ground with the pilot chute behind the car as if it was getting ready to get packed. But I was going to have an option where I can switch them out where I could pull the open chute and empty chute pack off and put the one that is packed on. Hopefully this makes sense. It was something I have been thinking how I can have both options and display which I would like. I will explain more when I see you at the Desert Scale Classic on this. Keep up the great work bud.
