Romell.... Nice work on the Floor Pans... It looks great. What thickness of aluminum did you use for it. I need to make some side pieces for my Funny Car and debating on what I am going to use. Also got a pic of it from the other direction looking. -

Not much of an update but heres a couple pics.... Sanding the tires... tire on left completed, tire on right still needs sanding: Clutch Blanket Halves glued together and just placed on the Clutch Bell Housing: -

Thanks Shane. Was able to get more done to this. worked on Drilling out the bolts on the clutch bell housing. Also started with a couple of body pieces removing rivets and drilling them out for Scale hardware rivets. Drilled out a couple of bolt heads on the manifold and was able to shoot some primer on the front Spindles. Here are the pics..... Here is the Clutch Bell Housing with the kits bolt heads removed and holes drilled for hardware: Here is the Clutch Housing mocked up with the bolts in place: Side window pieces, the left is the kit rivets and on the right the rivets have been removed and holes drilled for Scale Hardware Rivets: Both sides done, I need to take the rivets out and lay some bondo down to fill the low spots and will be ready to glue to the body: -

Derrick... man buddy those shocks are killer and look great. Awesome work on them. as far as the springs go did you find a source for small springs or did you make them yourself out of wire wrapped around tubing? Can't wait to see more updates on this build. Keep up the great work.

Brad, That seat is awesome and looks great. I really need to get some of that print plate. As far for the seat belt material, what about medical wrap tape or bandage tape. Go take a look a the Datona Pro Mod build in "on the workbench" from Aftashox and you will see what I am talking about. I have some but I want to get some like what he used in his build.

Rom... Nice work on the plumbing of the injector hat. I know how much work that can be. I remember when I bent all of the lines on my 1/16 FED build I have going on. Lots of time patience and extra wire... . I do want to ask what the material is that you used for the webbing on the seat belts, It looks great. and where did you pick it up at. I have picked up some medical bandage tape but seems that I can't find the right one with the right pattern...lol. Nice work... Keep Rockin' -

Romell... I don't mind you asking me at all. I actually had gotten them off ebay from a person name scaledetails. They are from a photo etch Ferrari set, they have them in 1/16 & 1/18 scale and I picked up both since I didn't know which ones would be the right size. If I remember correctly I ended up using the 1/18th scale because of the diameter of the disk. I had some one here send me a message saying that they had picked up some off ebay. I was pretty stoked cause I was looking everywhere for them lol... and since there isn't as much 1/16th scale detail stuff out there. I had to pick them up....lol -

Romell... Nice work on the calipers and seat. Gotta ask you what size RB Motion A/N fittings are you using for your brake lines? I have been going back and forth on using either part no. 1520ST 0.020" dia line or part no. 1521ST 0.025" dia. line but am leaning towards the 0.025" line. Cant wait to see more progress on this. -
John... I have no idea how i missed this build. Man this is looking great. The paint work is awesome. Engine detail looks good. Man I can't wait to paint some Alclad on my funny car build. Nice work John!

Few more pics of some progress that I made tonight. Was able to primer some parts as well as get the photo-etched disk brakes glued together with the centers I made and opened up the bolt holes on the Rims for the bolt studs I am planning on using on the hubs. Thanks for looking.... The Rear End, Front Axle & Oil Pan have been primered, Oil pans molded in drain plug was removed and drilled a hole for a Scale Hardware bolt: The disk brakes finally glued: Drilling holes a little larger in the Rims for the bolts: -
Fast & Furious Subaru Impreza WRX STi GRB
Mooneyzs replied to krishna.iskandana's topic in Model Cars
Very Cool.... I really like this build. It looks good and you did a great job on this. I love all of the Fast and Furious movies. I actually picked up a Tamiya 1972 Skyline to build Paul Walkers ride at the beginning of Fast Five. I found a source for the rims and I just need to order them and will build it right out of the box with the exception of lowering and adding wheels. Should be a fun project.
