  1. Thanks Jeff, I appreciate it. Feel free to save any of the pics i have posted to keep as reference for you to use down the road. As for an update.... I was able to do a little more work on the front end last night. I got my steering arms for the front spindles completed. Now i just need to glue them to the spindles. I also had to redo my steering tie rod because I wasnt happy with it. Took a few pics but didnt have time to upload them last night. Hoping to maybe get a little more build time in tonight and get the pics uploaded.
  2. Brad... Looking good my friend. Those brakes look great and so does the chassis. Looking forward to yoyr next update.
  3. Thank you Shane. This had been a fun build so far and I have put alot of though into what I have wanted to do to the kit detail wise. I have also done a lot of research finding pics and figuring out what resin and aftermarket parts i want to use as well as all the nuts and bolts. I have a binder that I keep alot of this information in as well as a excel spread sheet with information. Looks like I will be getting to spend a little time on this build tonight. So i should have some updated pics later tonight for real this time
  4. Romell... That fuel pump is looking great my friend. The detail is just amazing.

  8. Brad... Sorry I don't have pics for you yet. I wasn't able to work on it last night but hoping to maybe tonight. As far as the printing plate I haven't been able to locate any yet. Tonight I am hoping to add those two braces that you suggested on the tabs for the rear end and finish up the front axle steering arms and see what else I can start on...lol
  9. Hey Brad i havent done much since I last posted pics. I was able to work o it for about an hour yesterday and did a little more to the front axle. Hoping to get to work on it for a little bit tonight as well. I should have the fabrication of the steering arms done for the spindels tonight then all that i need to do is put some bondo on the front axle and get it ready for primer. Will hopefully have some pics up later tonight.

I look forward to the paint that you are going to squirt on the body. I know it will be an awesome job. I still can't believe how quick you can build. I also wanted to ask what you use for your blower belts? they look great.

  20. HOLY SMOKES!!! John... wow you have out done yourself yet once again. This Build is a beauty. I can't say it enough but your builds blow me away. The detail is phenomenal and craftsman ship is top notch. I sure look forward to seeing this in person. I really wish I could build as fast as you.... maybe one day I am looking forward to what you have in store for the paint. I also wanted to ask what do you use for your zip tie material and where do you get it. I may of asked before in another build but I forgot. Can't wait to see the next update. Keep up the great work.
  21. Brett... I am going to check my stock of slixx decals that i have as doubled mentioned i cant remember if slixx did a set of these or not. But i am also gonna take a look at the decals that came in my summit kit to see if they look good or not.
  22. Romell... I would love to have a mini mill and Laythe... Maybe one of these days. Can't wait to see you maching some parts...especially for this build.
  23. I pick up some of my Supplies from Space age... Hmmm I wonder if they have some plasti-Kote spot fill primer. will have to call them and get a couple of cans if they do. Thats a good price.
  24. I would love to see all of those pics for sure. I would definetly pic up both sets of Decals if someone was able to make them. I wonder if Slixx would be willing to do them for you. Hopefully you were thinking of them in 1/16th scale.
